    I read all five books within a matter of days because they were just that good. I’m going to read the prequel next and then check out more of his books. This was my first encounter with this author but highly recommend this series.

    Fair Notice: I did not purchase this ebook from Amazon, I am a fan of this series from its inception and happy to leave a review!

    The series follows Kaylin and those she loves as they struggle to find a place to exist safely in a dystopian world. Kaylin is a powerful Influencer still discovering the extent of her abilities. Her family, both biological and of the heart, are part of her journey and vital to her fight for survival, both of body and soul. This is the conclusion of a 5 part series for which I had thought than anything like a happy ending was impossible, David Bernstein clearly has a better imagination than I do, lol.

    I genuinely hope to someday see this series adapted for the big screen, I think it would make a great movie series.

    I do strongly advice that the books be read in order as they will make more sense that way but these are well-crafted characters so with some patience I feel you could still enjoy this novel without having read every book in the series.

    As an ARC Reviewer I will admit not paying for my copy. First thing is you need to also read the other books in the series. After the first books I wasn't sure how to properly end the series but David Bernstein has miraculously done this in a satisfying way. I never give away plot lines except to say that I read this start to finish without starting another book.

    So glad book 5 brings all the characters to a satisfied ending. Lost some friends along the way but happy with the way it ends!
