Wasn't expecting for my books to get here so soon, but I'm not complaining!!! The Touched saga is one of my favorite books series so when I found out Elisa (was published a new edition) I knew I had to get them (I also have the English paperback version's) looks to be maybe a 100 or less pages have been added, can't wait to see what that's all about!! Happy reading guys, gals and those of us in-between!!!

    I have no words for the amount of emotion that I feel right now. This book, the last for Gevan, was well written and kept my eyes glued to the words while my heart was filled with emotion. Everytime you think that somethings going to happen that you can predict it takes a sad twist that will leave you trying to hurry towards the finish and praying for a happy ending. Out of this series this by far is my favorite. In this book alone you see them grow from young love birds to devoted parents. You feel their pain along with witnessing how it pushes there personal growth. "Hes crazy and shes out of her mind" was the perfect phrase repeated through out this book. I cannot wait for the spin off that I know will be even better. This was a welcoming distraction from regular vampire loves weak human stories. This showed sacrifice on both sides, by everyone. Ginevra, simon, Drake, stella, anya, Gevan, and even poor little Liam. A great read that jumped to number one in my favorites collection next to Acheron by sherrilyn kenyon. This author is now one of ny favorites. The way she built the characters and there personalities all the while showing there growth is amazing and hard for even the most seasoned writers. Fantastic job!

    Cons:
    It did take awhile for me to get into it. In the beginning all they cared about sex but I soon realized that maybe the author was doing that because of Gemmas nature of being a witch was affecting Evan.
    Alot of it is rushed. Certain parts should have been longer and more in depth. Especially Peters and Liams parts. They were just accepted without a second thought. It kind of throws Gemma and Evan into the Selfish Category. It was like they were willimg to give up everything including their son in order to be together. Thats twisted. The ending of the book definitely out weighed the cons which is why I gave it 5 stars but I hope that the spin off whom im guessing is with Liam will be better and more thought out. The final books in every season is usually rushed because the writers are despearte for everyone to see their ending but she missed really big opportunities rushing this one. Hopefully she gives peter his own book after casting him a side in this one.

    I was so excited for this book to come out. But then it downloaded and I gobbled it up in less than 24 hours. It takes awhile for the story to spool up. But when it does, good luck trying to pry your eyes away from it. I thought the first books were emotional? Ha! They were a walk in the park compared to this. The rollercoaster of emotions is a violent one in this last installment of Elisa's Touched series. So make sure you have read the first books, get in a good comfy position and make sure you have tissues ready. Why didn't I mention having a drink while reading? Because you will need more than one after finishing this book. Although this book was amazing. I just can't believe it ended this way. I believe this book had greater potential than what it did. Personally I was a little let down by it. So much was overlooked in my eyes. But it is what it is. I hope that any spin offs of this series is looked at more closely. I will state again that this book was good. It just felt rushed in to many area's and in the end it just fizzled.

    When I first started this series, it grabbed my attention with it's unique premise and then kept it with it's strong follow through in sticking to it's original idea without the story losing it's substance.

    The character's are well thought out and it's easy to get sucked into the story and unable to put the books (or kindle) down until you've read the entire book because every time you're about to put it aside for a bit, you've just reached a pivotal point in the story and the next thing you know it's an hour later and dinner is now cold, so you might as well keep on reading.. keep a box of tissues nearby because you are definitely going to need them by the time you've finished this series.

    While it's easy to see why so many fans love Evan and Gemma and their history that is the focus of this series, I personally would love it if the author would write "prequel" books for Genevra and Simon's pre Evan and Gemma's history together and a more fleshed out telling of their love story.

    I'm trying not to give away any spoilers, so I will end my review with this; good luck trying to put the books down and getting anything else done like eating or sleeping once you've started with book one and until you have finished with book #3!
    There are many surprises ahead for you in this trilogy, some that seem inevitable, and others that downright blindside you like a frisbee hitting you in the head while your sitting in the park minding your own business and just when you sit upright again, the dog chasing the frisbee flies into your lap. And that's just the beginning of the emotional roller coaster this series takes you for a ride on. .

    Beautifully written and engaging storyline, the last book. The author gives the characters soul that stay with you. Gemma and Evan haven't had an easy time and this final installment is just as tragic and heartbreaking as its predecessors.
    I absolutely loved it until the final chapters, not that its not good, oh no its just brilliant, rather my hopes of where the characters and the deliciously written bad guys would end up. Given gemma made an a pact with the devil and the devil broke the pact and also the fact Gemma's soul belonged to Evan and his to her, that should have been enough to save her.
    What happened to liam, I didn't like at all, I got Evan going to hell to save gemma but liam could have stayed with Gemma's parents. The delicious devina oh I wanted her to suffer but nope that witch has more lives than a cat!. Peter oh what a beautifully crafted character.
    I found the chapter about the author a little indulgent but fair play without her words and imagination we wouldn't have such a fantastic world to escape in.
    It was absolutely mesmerizing and I was totally enraptured, my emotions all over the place.
    Thank you Elisa for a truly beautiful and tragic escape into your words.
