Toby Wise is a stay at home parent who hails from a tiny town in Wisconsin. Contrary to popular Wisconsin stereotypes, he’s not a cheese-head who loves football but rather an introvert who spends all his time on the internet, drinking coffee, spending time with his kid, and cooing about his adorable cat, Pikachu.

In April of 2019, A Collection of Strays was born after the world of fanfiction drew him back into his love of writing. Now he’s writing all things omegaverse as long as it includes silly moments and found family.

Book 3 in Toby Wise’s A Collection of Strays series. While each book covers a different couple’s relationship – these best enjoyed in order starting with Before Fate. These continue to be the perfect mix of low angst, fated mates/instalove, and humor. In the previous books Isaiah’s made it clear that they can’t wait to find their mate. Wise crafted the perfect match for Isaiah in Sam – they’re both unicorns and content creators which give them a lot in common. They also have never even kissed someone before. It was adorable (and sometimes funny) how they navigated both being inexperienced. I can’t wait for Cameron’s M/M/M story, Trusting Fate.

    I usually skip books about unicorn shifters because while my brain accepts shifters but it tells me unicorns don’t exist. Ok book review. I like the quotes of all the characters in the beginning of the book, nice touch.     This series promises shifters, mpreg, and low angst happily ever afters and that's exactly what they deliver. One can't help but fall smitten with this cast of characters. Each book can be read as a standalone but I recommend starting from the beginning because it makes it that more special when certain family members find their happily ever after.

    Fate's Perfect Timing tells the story of non-binary unicorn Isaiah, who is seriously a big ray of sunshine, finally finding her mate. He is a manly, strong and handsome as they always dreamed for. The book does a great job of giving an insight in what a non-binary person may think about themselves. The story has first time insecurities, acceptance, love and fun family bonding moments.
