Always a treat to see what else an author has up their sleeve when they step outside their comfort zone. 'Fish story' drew me in for how little Elsie would coming running to listen to Grandpa's story (She intended to hear them all) such that I wanted to hear them as well. I found that tale to be particularly engaging for the humor present. "The Vision" was even more up my alley given my love of suspense and the dark undertones found in this short work as a mind reader experiences gruesome visions leading to a horrible realization. Some very good short stories and hoping "Weirdly: A Collection of Strange Tales" becomes available on kindle one day soon as I would enjoy reading that book, too!

I don't want to give away anything. These are genteel
stories--not violent, nor ugly. Still, you're going to
enjoy them, especially the one starring Charles the Great!

ADD: Can you tell I wrote that on my new Kindle? Wow. Anyway, the stories are fun, clean, but, like I said above, the second story will nab you right between the eyes. Number 1 and 3 are good, but #2 is definitely startling.
