Austin Dragon is the author of over 30 books in science fiction, fantasy, and classic horror.     This story of a quest caravan is so detailed and interesting I found myself taking longer to read it. The characters are the same as other stories but unique in the way they acquire their place in the caravan. And it's not just the good ones. There are evil, mischievous, and sly ones. They allied themselves with the mysterious Traveler to make their way across country. Each one bound by honor to contribute to the success of the group.

    This is a very fine series. I am really enjoying the long trek as the story unfolds mile by mile. Full of interesting characters and fantastical beasts and more fairies then you can count, they all make for one epic journey through a landscape just as original and dangerous as its inhabitants. I cant wait to see where Mr. Traveller takes us next.

    This is a fabulous series. A wee bit slow to start with, but then you will not be able to put the books down.

    Austin Dragon's writing is full of excitement, epic battles, tension, and wonder. The world-building is great. Who exactly is this mystery man, Traveler? He seems to know everything... from the lore of each race to the quickest shortcut. What about his amazing companion too?

    There are many characters in this book, but do not let that put you off. The reader knows them all and knows them well. Honestly. The splendour of the many different races, animal men, animals, and magic - good and bad - are wonderful. You never guess what's going to jump out from being invisible next! Not only that, but you also have Mr Quillen's Glossary of every being he has ever come across on his travels. The caravan continues its journey despite spies and attacks. Excellent!

    I chose to voluntarily read and honestly review this box set. My reviews for each book as I finished reading them are also available. All opinions are my own.

    I've enjoyed Austin Dragon's Liquid Cool, cyberpunk detective series and wondered how he'd be able to tackle a completely different genre. I love epic fantasy tales....and I wasn't disappointed.

    If you loved Lord of the Rings, or Feist's Magician series...do yourself a favour and read these books.
    I lost myself in the story and was carried away on an amazing adventure into the Land of Fae. The characters are so alive that they feel like friends I've always known. Austin Dragon creates an incredibly vivid world filled with delightful creatures and a host of dark ones too. And the series has it all...adventure, a quest, suspense, friendship, laughter, clashes between "good" and "evil" and mythical creatures. The world is so well constructed that you almost feel like you're watching a movie.
    Be prepared for a book hangover!

    Having read the authors previous series' I was pleased to see a fantasy set as I'm a huge fan of the genre. Have to say this doesn't disappoint! It's original, which is hard to do in a "crowded" space, the characters are easy to invest in and the story is very compelling.

    I picked up book 1 to see initially if it was going to be appealing, and I sat and read it cover to cover, so grabbed the other two and demolished them in the space of a few days. I hope there are more books in the series on the way!

    I have read each of the books in this set and cannot wait for more from this epic series. Traveler and his caravan of many races will have you craving more with every page. Austin has done a fantastic job in creating a world that will immerse you in fantasy like never before!
