The Seasons Change are really changing this book was a whirlwind of everything. Happiness, love, friendship, sadness, hurt, loneliness and I think most of all growth. Adam and Adelaide aka Baddie are best-friends who grow to be so much more they become each other's very favorite people. Now the question is how do they protect that when things keep changing. I have voluntarily left this review.

    Oh my heart. I am in love with Adam. For so many reasons. Who doesn't love a broken rock god that falls for his best friend? And Adelaide is such a Baddie, hence the nickname.

    Adam and Adeliade live next to each other in their apartment building. What starts as a friendship turns into something more, but not a relationship. They cross some lines, but have the "look but don't touch" rule. They spend a year as just friends before Adelaide overhears a conversation Adam has with a terrible coworker of hers, Natalie, and what he says completely destroys her.

    I usually dislike the miscommunication trope. Why can't people just use their words to discuss their feelings? However, I didn't find that to be the case with this book. I felt like these two did communicate, a lot. In fact, when Adam said things that hurt Adelaide's feelings throughout the book, she calls him on it (until he gutted her). When she'd run from her issues, he'd call her on it. But when it came to them having feelings for the other, they didn't express it. I found it was because neither of them had been in a real relationship with deep feelings so they honestly didn't realize what they were experiencing therefore, unable to express feelings. I did find myself heartbroken in a few chapters while reading this book, and I loved it. I love me some angst!

    Ok, I am all over the place with this series. I read book 3 first (or so I thought). I was about 2 chapters from the end and found out that book 1 was available on Audible with my membership so I started listening to it while working on some things around the house. I finished book 1 while still not done with book 3. Then I moved on to book 2, audio version, and realized I'd read that one last year. It was… odd (review on that one), but now that I've read book 3 and listened to book 1, the characters made more sense. What I’m getting at, is you can read all of the books in this series as a standalone, or completely out of order, and you will be fine. I just highly recommend diving into these books for a great rockstar romance series. They won't disappoint.

    This was a good read but took me a bit to get through. I knew there was light at the end of the tunnel because this isn't my first Julia Wolf read, but boy did I want to shake these two and bop their heads!

    It was nice to see Adam have some aha moments and get inside his head. I'm so glad I stuck it out and read this one because he truly is a sweetie. And I loved how he loved his girl next door.

    Adelaide was wonderful and I think she and Adam balance each other well. I loved reading about her discovering and making her dream happen. She wasn't a pushover and I found her to be relatable.

    The side characters/chosen family were amazing as usual! 💙

    Adam has been such a turd in this series. He doesn’t typically take anything seriously. After Adelaide came into his life, he became a different person without even noticing. This book definitely has the spice the previous books in this series have. It also has lots of sweet and a big dash of heartbreak. Im so glad Adam is no longer the “last dishonest man of the group”!

    Ohhhhh man I don't think I can even put into words how much I loved this book. I fell for Adam in Built to Fall, lol He was a lovable player that made some errors in judgement , I couldn't help but fall for his charm. When the Seasons Change series was announced I couldn't contain my excitement for Adam's story. It was worth the wait. Adelaide is Adam's perfect match. You know sometimes when you really love a character you can be disappointed in the direction the author takes them. I won't lie, I was nervous because we cling to our favorites and our own ideas of where their journey should lead. I was worried for NOTHING! Adam and Adelaide's journey was PERFECTION. I am not not sure who I'm obsessed with more Baddie (Adelaide) or Adam. Even though I'm not anywhere near a model , I really related to the struggles Baddie faced and her own ability to be self aware enough to know her own heart. Ohhhh Adam what can I say, he broke me heart in his typical f***Boi ways. Sometimes we deny our true feelings and are so convincing we never see what's really happening. Every crossing lines we promised ourselves we wouldn't. Ahhhhh as per usual Julia caused all the emotional damage and then put us back together. This book was a slow burn for sure but man when it ignited it was an inferno!! thank you Julia for letting me be an ARC reader for this book. It was another phenomenal read!!

    I enjoyed the close friendship that Adam and Addie grew as next door neighbors. I loved watching the boundaries of their friendship get pushed. Although Adam was obtuse and did something hurtful, he became worthy of forgiveness . I was so pleased when he became protective, giving, jealous and possessive of his Baddie.

    I loved Addie as a heroine. Even though Adam is the rockstar, Addie rocked in her own ways. Her hurtful experiences brought tears to my eyes as I read. She was strong, even in her vulnerability. She became determined to pursue what she wanted in life despite the obstacles in her way.

    Natalie is the character that raised my blood pressure up. Her mean actions made me so angry on the behalf of Addie. I’m sure all readers will relate.

    There were several spicy scenes in this book. I loved reading what happened at a club and a bakery with wedding cakes to sample. There were also hot scenes that included wonderful descriptions of a piercing one of the characters had.

    I loved reading the updates about several characters from previous books. I especially enjoyed seeing a couple from a previous book get married. Although characters from previous books are mentioned, this can be read as a standalone. This book left me craving to know more about the story of June and Diego.

    Adam and Addie are absolutely my new favourite couple!!!

    Adeline Goodman in the daughter of Saul Goodman the man in total control of the Seasons Change's career, contract well basically life so a relationship between these two is an absolute no no to which they both completely agree.

    Fast forward a few months and the lines start to blur for both and Addie starts to catch real feels. Things blur even more when they decide to start a game a sex game but without the actual sex all down hill.

    There is such a massive amount of miscommunication between these two, so many things that should have been said and made clear unfortunately things end up seriously messed up and ugly before Adam pulls his head out and sees what has been right in front of him.

    This story is an absolute whirlwind dramatic highs and seriously sad lows. There is so much fun in this story the relationship between Adam and Addie is electric they are the full package once they get past the whole not talking part.

    The seasons change series is absolutely amazing 100% recommend author, book and series.

    After reading Stone Cold Notes, I was hooked on this series. Of course, I met Adam there too and find him to be an interesting character. Same goes for Adelaide.

    So, I jumped right in into reading this book and seeing how it will go. I'm all for friends to lover stories. I love the deep connection and them knowing each other.

    The blurb really sounded promising. And I'm not disappointed. Of course, it's not perfect and has some flaws. Flaws I don't mind in the end, and a not enough to subtract an entire star. It is maybe a 4.5/4.75 rating, but that's so little that I gave the full 5 stars.

    For example, I didn't like the build up of the book. We start with a present scene with them breaking apart, and without us knowing what's going on. And then the entire first half of the book is about the past.

    Sure, I know that it makes sense, and I loved seeing their start of the friendship and how they are with each other, while learning about their backgrounds and the circumstances. But it was still too much for me, since that is a huge chunk of the book without anything progressing in their romance story, and I think it could have been more concise.

    But otherwise, it did a lot for showing their chemistry and struggles. I could understand both sides, though Adam was sometimes more difficult to handle with the things he said and did. But he always realizes his mistakes and tries to make them right. So, he appears like an idiot sometime, but he really isn't a bad guy.

    Adelaide was the one I could understand more, and I really rooted for her to find her happiness and her standing up for herself. Though, I wished she would have been more direct to him about what had happened, either. It's not right to ghost someone, without that person understanding what has happened. So, that's another thing that prolonged the story unnecessarily for me in the second half. But I could understand it. It's not easy to say what you really feel.

    But both of them has their issues and different coping mechanism, which is just humanly. And both cause issues, where there hadn't had to be none.

    I loved seeing old characters, too. And I will definitely read the next book about June, too.

    So, even though not everything was perfect, I was into the book and the characters. It was really well executed and chemistry was off the charts with those two to everyone around.

    I have been so excited for Adam’s book since we first me him in Built To Fall (a great standalone age gap, boss/assistant, rockstar romance, you should also check out). His story was worth the wait!

    Adam, the band’s lead guitarist has a reputation throughout the series, but I loved how we are able to see so much more of his personality in the book! He really is a loyal and caring and getting glimpses of his past gave great insight. He has a lot of layers and has to learn to get out of his own way. I wanted to be mad at Adam at times, but there is just something about him! He really can be sweet if a little daft sometimes, and worked hard to so how much Adelaide meant to him.

    Adelaide was so wonderful, she is the daughter of Saul Goodman, the owner of the record label The Seasons Change is signed and Adam’s new neighbour. Your heart broke for her as more about what she was dealing with was revealed, specifically her family life and relationship with her father. She had a lot to over come and dreams but she also needed to hear some hard truths to give her the final push to know she true strength and worth, I loved watching her flourish and follow her passion.

    I loved these two together, they have an instant connection, to which they both agree is strictly platonic (until it’s not…) and quickly become the best of friends. They brought out great qualities in each other, and also provide a safe space to be open and be themselves. I really enjoyed all the support and understanding they showed. I loved watching as they got to know each other develop an even stronger connection. The strength they found in themselves while thriving in their friendship was beautiful!
    Once the two of them understood and admitted to themselves and each other what they were really feelings they were an unstoppable duo! The grovelling Adam did, was awesome!

    I absolutely loved their story and the two of them together! So much emotion, I laughed lots, my heart broke a couple times, there was some anger, and shaking of my head, but these two together…fire!
