I absolutely adored this story! What started out as a bet between best friends ended up being so much more. Zane Phillips appears to have it all. He’s arrogant, cocky and a bit of a jerk. He’s not looking for love, hell he doesn’t even believe in it. A miserable childhood and watching his parents drink and fight showed him that love is not for him. But I doubt even he was prepared for the firecracker that is Harlow Nicks. Harlow Nicks first impression of Zane? He’s an arrogant piece of work with no regard for anyone. After being mistaken for a dog walker, broken heels and a missed interview for a job she desperately needed she loses it big time. And it’s all his fault! Harlow loses it and her lets her temper do the talking. Zane’s not going to let it end here though, a pair of heels, a taunt and this player thinks he’s won. But what happens when the player gets played? It’s a journey that has you laughing! A tour bus, two months on the road and one bed. It’s a fun sexy read that really makes you want to believe in the power of love. Throw in a meddling old man and a hilarious mother adding their own thoughts on this and you’ve got a read that hits all the spots.

    I absolutely LOVED Faking It! The storyline and characters were even better than I imagined, and I loved K. Bromberg’s writing style. Faking It has been one of my top favorite romances from this author so far, and I can’t wait to devour more!

    The storyline was amazing. I loved K. Bromberg’s take on the “faking it” trope. It was unique, fun, fresh, and entertaining, and I loved it so much. I also loved the enemies-to-lovers vibe between Zane and Harlow. The push and pull between them was electric and undeniable, and I couldn’t get enough. Zane and Harlow’s journey was so much more than I hoped it’d be, and I was absolutely ecstatic with the conclusion.

    The characters were phenomenal. Zane and Harlow stole my heart, and I fell head over heels in love with them. I loved their personalities and smoking hot chemistry together, and how most of their relationship progressed throughout. Zane and Harlow gave each other a hard time, and tested one another’s limits more often than not, but they were a perfect match, and I was over-the-moon happy with the outcome to their story.

    Faking It was a fun, sexy, and entertaining standalone contemporary romance that I would HIGHLY recommend! K. Bromberg nailed it with Zane and Harlow’s unique, fresh, flirty story, and I can’t wait to read more from her!

    After struggling through some hard times, all Harlow Nick's wants is to nail the interview for the job she so desperately wants.     First, I have to say that I love Kristy Bromberg!! Her writing style, characters, everything really just draws the reader into that world until the very end of the book! She's amazing and I've never been disappointed in any of her books!
    Faking It is just like the title says, faking a relationship for the general public to see. Now, this has been done in romance books before, but Kristy puts a whole new spin on it that I've never seen before. First, Zane and Harlow meet in a total misunderstanding and being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Harlow is in the building for a job interview, but can't read her writing, since it's been smudged, and goes to the wrong door. The wrong door being Zane's office and he thinks she's his dog walker - and late. Needless to say, he's not happy, not nice to her, and basically throws the dog at her and shuts the door! This is where it all begins!!
    Now, Harlow is not a shrinking violet, by any means!!! She's a strong woman that speaks her mind. She doesn't let people, especially men, walk all over her. Something Zane is not used to!!! He usually has people, especially women, saying and doing whatever they need to to get what they want out of him. And visa versa. He's used to fake people, and Harlow is all real!!!
    Anyway, Zane is launching a new dating website and needs backing and a spokesperson. Harlow winds up with an invite to the party that will start the ball rolling. She winds up meeting the wealthy backer that Zane is after and they hit it off. The backer, Robert, wants Harlow as the spokesperson - which angers Zane to no end, but he goes along with it. Then, Robert changes the game and decides he doesn't want a spokesperson, but a spokescouple to promote the website. Which is Zane and Harlow!!! I don't want to give too much away because I want you to read the book, but Zane lied and told Robert that the website found him is perfect match. This leads to a cross country promotional tour, on a bus, with 2 people pretending to be in love.
    These characters are flawed for various reasons, which makes them relatable. Yes, Zane is wealthy but Harlow is a struggling model just trying to survive. She sees an opportunity and takes it, hoping it will work out to her benefit. But, the way they interact and relate to each other and their circumstances is very real. I felt like this could have happened and kept my nose stuck in the pages. There are underlining circumstances revolving around the characters, but nothing earth shattering. They were real situations that could come up with real people. I loved these characters and this book!!!! I highly recommend it to all readers out there who want to get lost in a good book!!

The reason why Zane needs Robert becomes apparent later on in the story . All in all this is a beautiful love story with the two main characters starting out trying to deny their true feelings but when circumstances throw them both together it’s only a matter of time before the inevitable happens . Will there be a HEA for Harlow and Zane ........ of course there is 😍😍❤️❤️and it’s beautiful .

    This is the first book I’ve read by K Bromberg and I absolutely loved it. Her tone makes this book very easy to read and I was very quickly addicted to the plot.

    The book is about Harlow Nicks, a struggling model who is reluctant to get her heart broken. When she is mistaken for a dog walker by business mogul Zane Phillips, Harlow never anticipates her life taking on a whole new direction.

    Zane is a businessman who loves the thrill of risks and making deals. After a bet among friends he is determined to invest his time and money in a dating agency. He is confident to make money from other people’s happiness despite believing love isn’t real. He is cocky, confident and dangerously handsome.

    Harlow is not like other women for Zane, she does not fall at his feet, nor does she give him an easy time, so when they are both pushed into working together, it spells a recipe for disaster...but does it?

    The book is modern, thrilling and funny. Harlow is relatable and very down to earth and you can’t help but instantly be taken with her. Zane is handsome and cocky but once you start learning more about him, and getting to the core of his personality, you soon become smitten.

    This book had me hooked and dying to know how it ended. The idea of the dating agency is addictive and despite some predictable twists, it made for a sweet and romantic read.

    I’d recommend to all romance lovers.

    This story wasn't what I expected but so fantastic. True to Kristy this book hit all the feels!! The way Zane and Harlow met was hilarious but the way they were in the end melted my heart. Harlow was strong and determined and oh so sassy. Her ability to stand up to Zane was incredible. He certainly didn't expect this tornado of a beautiful woman to come into his life and bulldoze his entire thought process. He definitely was your typical alpha male who was super in control of his entire life. He had predetermined notions of love and family due to his heartbreaking past. Harlow gave him hope and so much love. Then there was Robert.... who didn't fall fir this beautiful soul sofull of love and history ensuring these two seen the something special they had.
