DL Gallie writes spicy romance with elements of comedy and suspense. She currently lives in Central Queensland, Australia, her husband and two kids but has lived in many different places around the world and within Australis. She and her husband have been together since she was sixteen, and although they drive each other crazy at times, she couldn’t imagine her life without him.

Shortly after her son was born, DL began reading again. With encouragement from her husband, she picked up the pen and started writing, and now the voices in her head won’t shut up.

DL enjoys listening to music, drinking white wine in the summer, red wine in the winter, and beer all year round. She’s also never been known to turn down a cocktail, especially a margarita.

    This was my first book by this author and it most certainly will not be my last. I already messaged her telling her I need the next book in the series.

    WARNING: this book is hot as hell. I made the mistake of reading it first thing in the morning and required taking a cold shower at the end of it.

    What do you get when put together a sexy doctor with an accent and with a shy school teacher who sees the best in people? Explosive chemistry is what you get.

    I enjoyed the relationships throughout the book. Not only do we get to see Flynn and Avery's relationship but we get Avery and her twin sister Bailey, Avery and her bff, Flynn and his best friend and fellow doctor as well as the cutest elderly patient Marvin.

    I had only planned to read a little bit here and there and got so caught up in the story line that I ended up devouring it in one sitting. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing our two main characters grow - by the end of the story they are definitely not the same ones from when they were first introduced in this story. They really do bring the best out in each other.

    It is a good book but not my cup of tea. This is the 2nd book by this Author and it was not my cup of tea so to speak. I just couldn't get over how flighty or door mat the female lead was and how the main guy put up with it. It's good book but just not for me.

    DNF at 63%. The author made the blurb out to be like something traumatic happens. Over halfway through with the book, and the only thing that's happened is her twin sister hurts her ankle, and then her twin sister pretends to be her, making Avery think Flynn cheated. But then about 5-6 pages later, they're okay again.

    Never thought I would see the day I complain of too much sex, but there's so much sex happening between two characters who have ZERO chemistry. There's no real storyline here.

From the moment Flynn and Avery met, they had an instant connection, they were drawn to each other. They were good for each other, their chemistry was sexy. I enjoyed Avery and Flynn's story, they were great together.

    I think Avery and Flynn spent more time naked than with clothes on... but hey, I am not complaining.
    Things heated up with this couple from the start. Flynn was a one night stand, no relationship guy and one look at Avery and he was a goner.
    Avery has a twin sister and this is where all the drama takes place. I felt this let the book down a little, otherwise would have been a 5 star. I will definitely be reading more from this author.
