    These two people have known each other for a few years. He was in a relationship with someone who have birth to his daughters. But never married her. She went off to college then fashion apprentice for a few years. Now she is back and planning to stay. He needs help with his girls. She needs a place to stay. Will they ever figure out that their future is together? What about his daughters mother?

    After a bad break up Kate is back home for good with the idea of opening up her own store. What she doesn't want to do is live with her parents. Kate has secretly crushed on Elliot for years and now that he is divorced. Elliot has also been captivated by Kate but an unexpected pregnancy put an end to that but things change. He needs a trustworthy person to look after his little girls and she needs a place to stay this should be a win-win for both of them but Kate knows that being close to Elliot is a dangerous place for her heart. Can they live in a close environment and leave their feelings outside? This story will have you cheering on the sidelines for these two!

    This is a sweet and easy read but there's nothing memorable about it for me in it. Kate is back home and looking for a place to stay as going back to her family home is not at the top of her list. Elliot is a single dad to twin girls that needs help whose mother makes things difficult for him.

    This is the 2nd book I've read written by Jody Holford; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

    The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

    I loved the chemistry between the characters.

    This is Kate's story. She is an intern at a fashion house in NYC. It's been a year now and after a messy break up she wants to go home to Angel Lake.
    Elliot, policeman, father of twin girls, with an ex that is a flake. Elliot hires Kate to be a nanny to the girls while she gets settled and starts the business she wants. She's liked Elliot for as long as she can remember and he's liked her but she's his bosses sister in law and off limits.
    Another adventure into the life in Angle Falls. A sweet afternoon read with all the feels. I really enjoyed this book.
