    This series is always a hit, you can't go wrong with a Hope Ford Alpha tale. This is the story of April who lost her less than stellar husband in a fire. In fact, they were well on their way to divorce. Terry is a firefighter that worked with her husband and feels the need to watch over and protect her. Terry loves April but is worried he will scare her away with his feelings. Once April finds out that she's pregnant with her dead husbands child Terry steps up, wants to marry her, and raise the baby as his own. Short and sweet with some great quotes you don't want to miss.

    Loved this story. April's husband died in a fire. Before that, things weren't going very well in their relationship. Now his former firefighter friend wants to take care of her. Terry sees something in April that he could be happy with. With a surprise announcement, both if them have a little something extra to be thinking about. Such a good story.

    Hope Ford's series books are great because you know something about the main characters. However my copy was little confusing for the first couple of chapters. I couldn't figure out where Tyler came from and why his sudden appearance. But Tyler eventually became Terry and the rest was history. Another excellent Hope Ford steamy book. My last 10 reads were all Hopes writings.
