This is a sexy autobiographical spoof that plays around with the fuzzy line between fact, fiction, and fantasy.
This is FICTION, baby
Only a few homeless budgerigars were harmed in the making of this book.
For mature readers only.
'Cause there's dicks, cocks, penises, and vaginery bejazzled lady bits inside. Also maybe a tentacle and a dildo.

Editorial Reviews
Review
"I was literally laughing out loud throughout this memoir. I drew many stares from people at the airport. Nothing like being in a crowded area and laughing so much that you are certain the others are wondering about your sanity, or lack thereof."JODY RHOTON, Beta reader of Excellence and Reviewer of Books.
"OMG woman, I was laughing so much by the end of this mad caper.
It was highly entertaining, laugh-out-loud funny - so much so that Thomas kept asking what amused me so much." NERINE DORMAN, Vampire Queen of the South, Mistress of the Treehaus of Stories and Other Things, Penguin Wrangler, and editor of FAN ANONYMOUS.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 19, 2016Cari Silverwood is the queen of spoofs! If you haven’t read Fan Anonymous, then you should! But, remember this is a spoof and as Cari Silverwood said “This is FICTION, Baby”. Fan Anonymous is a laugh out loud book to read. There should be a warning to not read this book out in public because people will look at you strangely because you are laughing so hard.
I have so many places in this book that I have highlighted. I didn’t want to forget them. I wish I could quote some of them but, most of them would make Amazon cringe and not let me post my review.
This is truly funny but, do have an open mind while reading it. There should probably be a warning about maybe having a sick and dirty mind will help you read this book. Remember this book is a spoof!
Fan Anonymous is a short read and is on Kindle Unlimited so you could be reading it for free. Or you could just buy the book like I did.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2016This quick read was a blast. Very stream of consciousness. It was funny and witty. Tentacles! Lol. I was sad it ended.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2017OMG I absolutely loved this book..a humorous story of an author being asked to write a story for one of her fans..who gets just a little stalkerish. This misunderstandings from the author and the fan by only getting bits and pieces of the story from her! I loved the realism of the family and the day to day life of an author..and what was going on around her as she tried desperately to write this story for her fan!! I kept laughing when she was talking with her husband and the research she was doing, and how helpful LOL her hubby was with the research. I also loved the fact that her research got into hot water!! How she had brought into the story an alien with tentacles that came to visit her husband while she was otherwise occupied!! I can't say more because I would probably tell to much of the story!! Cari Silverwood never ceases to amaze me...I loved her comedic timing that I can only compare to the late great Erma Bombeck! If you have never read any of her books..you need to read this one!
- Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2020This is a fun little romp though an author's mental health crisis. Ok maybe it's not a mental health crisis but there's definitely some delusion or at least exhaustion. In any case, its tongue firmly in cheek funny.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 30, 2016This is a fast pace and fun read with plenty of kink. If you ever wanted to delve into the mind of a writer, here is your chance, you just might be shocked. Laugh out loud funny, in fact best to read at home, alone.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 22, 2016Fan Anonymous by Cari Silverwood is an laugh out loud, quick read, uplifting book that will have your sides sore with laughing. You won't be able to put it down at all. While I was on the bus I did get some strange looks when I laughed out loud.
I love the way that Ms Silverwood can write any genre and she writes the comedy so well that I'd love to read more comedy from her in the future. I did wonder why reading if any of the authors own life is reflected in the book.. I thought the part with the kids was absolutely brilliant.
I'd highly recommend this 5 star read for all who love abit of kink with humour.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 20, 2016Fact? Fiction? Fantasy? Drunk hallucinations? Is there always a clear line?
In Cari Silverwood's newest spoof she gives a peek into the sometimes crazy mind of a writer, her family and some interesting "fans". A quick and hilarious read that still manages to have some scorching heat in between the laughter. I'm sure I'll need to read again to catch even more!
Fair warning, no coffee while reading! You'll be laughing and spitting it out onto your e reader!
Fans of her earlier parodies, the tentacles are back!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 1, 2017Silverwood had me giggling through this book. This is an awesome short story that Cari has written. I love when she throws the sexy, armed muse in there. Then her author keeps throwing you for whirlwinds. It's an absolute read if you want a giggle.
