    I think this is my favorite in the series.

    There is a point when the hero gets a bad loss and the author shows a man with the multiple options from rising to the surface or plummeting to the depths. I like that kind of writing. Gives me a reason to believe that the hero will be a good man in the romantic relationship. Insta-love needs some basis for both (or more) of the people involved to show strength of character, personality, morality, that strong compass sh|π, ya know?

    Plus the sex scenes were embarrassingly hot! Enjoy

    Fighting For Honor is a tough, sexy, look into the world of mixed martial arts fighting and all that entails. It's hard, rough, and gritty.

    I can't say I enjoy MMA or have read many books with it as a theme but in general I can't say I like it a whole lot. Especially, the part where Stone is forced into a fight because he's being blackmailed into it against his will. That did not sit well with me, but still, I enjoy Ms Wyatt's writing and this books has all her classic sexiness which I was hella fun.

    I like Stone, a lot. He's a great guy with a great head on his shoulders. He loves his family and he knows his responsibilities and what he'd like to do to help them improve their lives. Unfortunately, fate throws him for a loop on the same day it presents him with the love of his life. From the moment he meets Maggie, everything he does is for her and about building a life with her. I enjoyed his single-minded determination and his protectiveness. He's smart, resourceful, and honest. All wonderful qualities to have in a man.

    Maggie is sweet. She's a little out of her depth and overwhelmed by Stone but she's not shrinking violet either. Circumstances are not kind to her or her aunt as people and events from the past catch up to her but it's a good thing she's got Stone in her corner fighting for her now. It's certainly necessary given what happens. It's a good thing that Stone's foresight and smarts manages to get them out of a serious bind.

    I didn't realise this was part of a series when I picked up the book. I might go back and read the rest of the books in the series at some point but I'm not sure. This series is by multiple authors set in the same world and I've not read any of the other authors before. I expect it might be a good introduction to them since these are quick, fun reads. We'll see.

    Don't like Papa Pain at all. I read the books out of order and I read about his niece before this one and didn't realize what a crook and sleaze he is, holding Maggie against her will just to get Stone to fight yea real low life.
