Everything In Between: Finding My Forever Book 1 Kindle Edition
Sigh. This gorgeous man now thinks I’m a moron.
Of course, I know that my secret—okay, not so secret—crush, Reese Willoughby, could never have any interest in me anyway. There’s just no way that he hasn’t noticed me openly ogling him at work. I know everyone else in the office has surely seen it.
When Reese finally asks for my help with a work project, I can’t help but feel over the moon. Now I can only hope that he notices just how much I like him, because there is no way I’m about to make the first move.
***Everything In Between is the first book in the series Finding My Forever, but is a standalone novel. Each book in the series will feature a different couple, but the couples will show up throughout the series. It is approximately 100,000 words and a contemporary romance between two men with explicit language and graphic sex intended for Adults Only.***
***Please beware that there is mention of child abuse that could be a trigger for some people.***

About the author

Michele is married to an awesome guy that puts up with her and all the burnt dinners she makes—hey, sometimes characters are a bit distracting, and who doesn’t plot when they’re supposed to be cooking? They live together in Baltimore, Maryland with two little monsters, a three-legged princess, a four-legged goofball, and a cutie with giant ears (aka their two kids, their two cats, and their dog). She hopes to rescue another cat soon, and if her hubby wouldn’t kill her, she’d get more than one… and maybe a few more dogs as well.
She loves creating worlds filled with lots of love, chosen family, and of course, magic, but she also likes making the characters fight for that happy ending. She hopes to one day write all the stories in her head—even if there are too many to count!

- Reviewed in the United States on November 7, 2017Fair warning: this book speaks frankly about physical abuse, pass on it if this is a trigger for you. The material is disturbing to read in places, funny as can be in others.
Beaten by his brother and father, Caleb is thrown out of his home at 13 years old, he has nothing but the clothes he's wearing--not even shoes. Levi, Caleb's best friend, was punched in the nose (by Caleb's brother) during Caleb's last beating. Levi's mom saves Caleb and adopts him.
Grown up Caleb has a monster crush (along with all the women in his office) on Reese. The abuse he suffered at his family's hands have scarred him physically and mentally. This is an amazing book that moved me to tears for Caleb as he copes with life. The brutally honest writing about the effects of abuse that last a lifetime is hard to read. I can't imagine being treated so brutally.
There's a great love story in this book-- love of family, love from friends, and the love of your life. I'm reading the rest of the series as soon as I can. This is my first book by Michele Notarto and I loved it.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 22, 2017SWEET, HEARTFELT, AND EMOTIONAL!
This is the first book I have read by Michele Notaro, and I think this may be her Debut Novel, as it came out December 2016 and all other books I saw were published this year (2017). Caleb, and Reese are such amazing characters, and the story line kept me flipping the pages, until the very end! I really enjoyed it! If anything it may have been able to be a little shorter, as its every detailed in the beginning with day to day activities. But that didn't stop me from devouring this book!
If you are looking for a M/M read with dept, but yet romantic, and fun; I highly suggest picking up this Gem! So glad I did. Can't wait to see what Book 2 in the Finding My Forever Series brings!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 22, 2017Caleb and Reese. So Caleb has a serious crush on the hot guy in the office but is he even available? Would he be interested in someone like Caleb? I first borrowed this book on KU as Michele was a new to me author and I wanted to give her a try. I am so glad I did. She is now on my must buy, one-click author list. The story is definitely about Caleb and Reese but we meet Declan and he definitely has a good part in this storyline. He is Reese’s best friend and I went back and forth with liking him and not liking him. But back to Caleb and Reese. These two are so adorable together. And they definitely have a lot going on in their lives. We find out that Caleb lives with an a-hole for a father and older brother. Levi is his best friend and first kiss. Mrs. Mahler is Levi’s mom a completely wonderful and lovable woman. Reese and Caleb go through a lot, I mean a whole lot, in a very short period of time but it definitely shows that they are meant to be together and they are perfect for each other. There are so many wonderful people in this story and I cannot wait to read about them! I definitely recommend Michele and her Finding my Forever series if you have not yet tried it!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2016I Completely, totally loved this book. LOVED IT. From the first few pages it just pulls you in. Great story line and the characters were all perfectly tied in together. The author did a great job on this book (especially for being a first book) and I cannot wait for the next one in this series. I will definitely be on the lookout for other books by this author.
Update to review:
It literally doesn't matter how many times I read this book. I am still completely In Love with Caleb and Reese. Idk what it is about this book but I am fully enamored and obsessed. I don't think I will ever get sick of reading this book. The only thing that would make this better is if we had an awesome audio version to go along with my eBook and Paperback. LOL. Seriously this is one of my absolute favorite books.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 11, 2019A pretty good start to a series from a new to me author. I really enjoyed the plot and the characters were well developed. I especially love that the family and children were front and center in the story. Reese and Caleb were both sweet and shy around each other at first. The relationship developed at a good pace, for two men who have had a crush on each other for years. It was fun, heartwarming and sweet. I’m definitely into this for the long haul, I would say.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2017This is the first book that I've read by Michele Notaro... but then it may be her first published work. She indicated that this would be part of a series so I am so excited! I'm going to join her mailing list so I'm notified of all of her subsequent publications.
Her characters are wonderful. The romance is sweet but not sappy. Caleb's adopted family is filled with quirky characters you wish were part of your own family. Jacob and Sammy are wonderful additions and I can't wait to find out more about Declan, Levi, Harley and Ryder. I'm just positive there will be a lot of 'hot action' in subsequent books.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 28, 2018Story line was just to predictable. First part and the end were the best. I hope the second book is better.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 26, 2018I totally love this book!
Caleb has been drooling (literally) over his hot college Reese for a long time when one day work finally brings them together. And it's not only Caleb that has been lusting over Reese, Reese have had a crush on Caleb for years too.
I just can't get over how amazing they are together, how wonderful Calebs family is and how adorable Sammy and Jacob are. And even though there's the hard topic about abuse ( trigger warning) it's such a sweet story about truelove.
Can't wait to read the next book.

Not only are Caleb and Reese such good main characters that you can't help but get invested in there story but everyone else in the family are too it made me smile and shed a tear as well as being steamy hot just perfect. Can't wait for book No 2 and getting to know more about Harley. A big thanks to the author.

4.0 out of 5 stars Amazing and beautiful
This was a great read. Enough romance and love with a sad, painful edge. Ups and downs of people who suffer surrounding themselves with people who love them. ❤️

This is a good book which opens your eyes to the truth that all people are not the same, but love conquers.

3.0 out of 5 stars Sweet and fun read
This was a sweet contemporary romance. There is no angst between our 2 MCs, and with accepting and understanding families (now!) all of their darkness is in the past. These pasts are delved into, more for Caleb than Reece, so be prepared for some brief descriptions of child abuse.
The story itself is about Reece and Caleb getting to know each other, and their respective families, and finally admitting their feelings for each other. We see glimpses of them at work and with their friends, but this book seemed to predominately be setting the scene for this and future books, introducing all of the characters. It was an enjoyable read, but I did feel not much happened due to that fact. It did pick up towards the end, but again that was introducing new characters and caused no drama between Caleb and Reece.
The intimate scenes between Caleb and Reece were hot, and did vary so it wasn't just more of the same each time. It was easy to see the chemistry between them, and fun to see them finally admit they'd both had crushes on each other for the past 4 years, but both were too afraid to say something given they worked together.
From an editing perspective, I did notice it switches from past to present tense a lot, sometimes in the same paragraph - one sentence would be past tense and the very next present tense.
I'm intrigued to read the next books in the series, and seeing the other characters get their HEA, but I do hope there is more depth to those and a little more grit now that all of the characters have been introduced. It will be interesting to see how they all pair up in the end, as there are some interesting and potential matches already.
