Fire's Mate (Charybdis Station Book 2) Kindle Edition
Fire may be a deadly Crellic Element, but he much prefers napping and snacking to murdering armies. After centuries of being used as a weapon, he's finally able to live peacefully on Charybdis Station. While he's content to spend his days visiting his friends and raiding their homes for food, he longs for one more thing. A mate to call his own.
A trip to the nearby planet of Burnished Outpost gives him far more than he planned on.
Quigley lives in a narrow-minded clan in the deep desert of Burnished Outpost. His days are spent hunting for survival, guarding his family from the rest of the clan, and hiding a secret that could get him killed. When everything goes wrong and he finds himself on run, all he can hope for is to live long enough to get his family to safety. When the most amazing being he has ever seen swoops in to save the day, Quigley knows he's found his mate.
The two men may be fated mates, but the differences between them are striking. Can Quigley adjust to a new life on Charybdis Station and can Fire find his place in his brand new family?
Author's Note: 36,000 words - Fated mates; Mpreg; Love at first sight; Low angst. This is a m/m sci-fi/fantasy romance story with a little action and a lot of sweet, mushy love. It is book two in the Charybdis Station series which is a spin-off series of The Blue Solace.

About the author

I have been self-publishing m/m romance since October, 2018 and enjoy sharing my books with readers all over the world. I'm also a reader and I love to read everything I can get my hands on, especially m/m romance. My favorites are mpreg, sci-fi, fantasy, and paranormal. I have four series right now.
1). My Hobson Hills Omegas series is light and sweet non-shifter mpreg. They are novella length (35,000-45,000 words) and angst-free.
2). My Blue Solace series is a sci-fi/fantasy romance and has more action and adventure. The romance, however, is still light and sweet. They are longer (40,000-60,000 words).
3). My third series is called The Silver Isles and is a paranormal mermen trilogy. They are also a little longer than Hobson Hills (45,000-50,000 words) and are low heat and light and fluffy.
4). My fourth series is a paranormal, mpreg series of holiday short stories called Holiday Omegas (10,000-14,000 words). The first few stories follow one couple as they meet, fall in love, and develop their relationship.
If you like zero angst, light and fluffy romance, give one of my books a try!

- Reviewed in the United States on June 15, 2021Okay, confession time. I read this entire series, which includes the Blue Solace in about, maybe 3 days. It's a bad habit, I'm not upset about. It's just I never review I just keep reading and review the last book 🤦🏻♀️. As a whole this series is a feel-good, HEA, good guys get the last word/shot always. Yes they have there moments of bad things that happen that are glazed over. But the main thing I took away from these books. Was a lesson. No matter who/what you are, you deserve to be loved and accepted, unconditionally. Plus there's no limit on pets lol.
Believe it or not this was the first book I came across in the entire series. Which means I had a lot to look forward to reading. And I fell in love with the childish antics of the characters and all of their stories. Yes I know there was grammar mistakes and things like that. I was not going to let that distract me from a story.
Now on to reviewing just Fire's story. Fire is everything you expect to be sweet and innocent...and then some. This is a feel-good romance and it was fun to see Fire grow just a little more serious. And now that he's second gift was revealed, he didn't come off so oddly adorable, now just too cute and yes still an adorable food thief. I can't say much more I would rune it for ya.
But I can't wait for Shea's story to be told. It was hinted to be great, in Sebby's.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 18, 2020Waited for this to come out because I just knew that there would be so many one liners in it. Fire and his mate are delightful. I wish this were longer though.
The Burnished have a whole culture that just begs to be explored, and Quigley touches on just one part of it in the story. It is a great touch, and gave reason for the conflict is a strange way. I'm not saying I want more Burnished though, yikes those folk are rough on purpose! I'm am saying that if we happen to have another person get itchy feet, tingling horns or have to kiss everyone to find their mate, a cool story explaining why would be nice.
Anyway it was a lovely and quick read that leaves me wondering just how big is the Blue Sector, and can it handle all the kids that live there?
- Reviewed in the United States on September 21, 2020I loved this story! I’m glad Fire got his mate and his HEA!!! I recommend this story for sure! ❤️
- Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2020Finally Fire's story and it was so sweet and adorably perfect, Quig was the best choice for Fire's mate, and the children are also perfect for Fire. This series is always full of, love and fun, oh and lot's of pets...psst they talk too....

- Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2020I can't get enough of these books, or of this author. I've reread the Blue Solace and Charybdis Station books multiple times and plan to do so again soon. The Hobson Hills series is just as good. Although this felt short, it was still a wonderful addition. I can't wait to finally read about Silas and Rune soon. I'm also hoping Shae gets a book soon? I also would not mind some shorts of previous couples just to keep updated, and maybe get peeks at couples who weren't featured as MCs, like Selene and Parker? Holiday snippets would be super cute, or even just anniversaries or day to day peeks.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2020Oh sweet sweet little Fire. I love him so much. I have lov d Fire's character almost from the beginning, his sweet little heart always amazed me. His ability to make those around him love him as well, was beautiful.
I found Quigley and Fire to be perfect for each other, Quig never tried to change him and embraced Fire right off the bat. And Fire seemed to be able to give Quigley and his family everything they needed. He was thoughtful and attentive towards them when others had hurt them for their differences.
If you want to melt and fall in love over and over again? I recommend reading Fire's Mate. I'm truly sad that this book had to end. But I can't wait for Rune and Silas' book. I love seeing glimpses of past couples in each new book as well.
