Forever Moore: A Gay Fairy Tale (Forbidden Love Book 2) Kindle Edition
Orien Moore, known as the Huntsman, lives on the fringes and has forsaken close bonds with anyone, even the misfits he has taken in. When Orien is called upon by his brother, Reginald, to kill the pampered future duke, it is the perfect opportunity to seek revenge against his power-hungry brother. Orien formulates a plan to use Reginald’s vicious request to his advantage by kidnapping Ansil and holding him hostage until he can fulfill his birthright.
Soon Orien realizes that Ansil is nothing like he’d expected. Kind and joyful, Ansil enchants Orien and his ragtag group. And Ansil, in turn, cannot help but be curious about the gruff huntsman as Orien’s vulnerabilities are exposed. Their mutual interest transforms into affection, followed by overwhelming desire. But they are living on borrowed time.
With Reginald seeking power in Ravenswood, they have no way of knowing what will transpire once Orien returns Ansil to his proper place in society. The only certainty is that the odds are stacked against them. Will the young lord and his huntsman ever have the chance to experience the happily ever after they’ve found in each other’s arms?
***PLEASE NOTE: FOREVER MOORE is a romantic fairy tale—minus the magic—that features one reluctant lord, one brooding huntsman, and plenty of angsty, forbidden love. It’s loosely based on a treasured fairy tale in a make-believe setting that isn’t part of any specific time period and doesn’t play by any traditional rules.
**It also completely stands alone from the first book in the Forbidden Love series. You DO NOT have to read one to enjoy the other. They are completely separate worlds. (less)

About the authors
Christina lives near Lake Erie in Northeast Ohio and her writing life happens somewhere between a cup of strong coffee and a glass of good red. She writes steamy slow burns with plenty of swoon, because who doesn't melt for those small, tender moments or grand, sweeping gestures?
She has books available through Penguin/Random House as well as self-published works in different sub-genres of romance, including the LGBTQ community because representation matters and everyone deserves a happily-ever-after.
Riley Hart’s love of all things romance shines brightly in everything she writes. Her primary focus is Male/Male romance but under various pen names, her prose has touched practically every part of the spectrum of love and relationships. The common theme that ties them all together is stories told from the heart.
A hopeless romantic herself, Riley is a lover of character-driven plots, many with flawed and relatable characters. She strives to create stories that readers can not only fall in love with, but also see themselves in. Real characters and real love blended together equal the ultimate Riley Hart experience.
When Riley isn’t creating her next story, you can find her reading, traveling, or dreaming about reading or traveling, and spending time with her two perfectly snarky kids, and one swoon-inducing husband.
Riley Hart is represented by Jane Dystel at Dystel, Goderich & Bourret Literary Management. She’s a 2019 Lambda Literary Award Finalist for Of Sunlight and Stardust.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 23, 2019Forever Moore: A Gay Fairy Tale by Christina Lee and Riley Hart is a loosely based retelling of the classic fairytale Snow White.
Can we talk about this cover for a minute please? How freaking gorgeous!!! This is one book I definitely need on my shelf, I can't even handle how beautiful it is.
But not only am I a cover lover when it comes to this book, I am a story lover too!
While the bones of the story are similar to the fairytale it's based on, Ms. Lee and Ms. Hart brought a fresh, new take to the classic tale, by flipping the script and turning it into a gay love story between "Snow White" and the Huntsman, with a wicked stepfather out to cause harm. I love how these authors really created their own world. There are nods to the classic story that you'll recognize, but this was truly a unique experience.
With a wonderful slow burn romance between Ansil, the sweet, innocent "Snow White", and Orien, the gruff, older Huntsman, not to mention the entertaining seven "dwarfs", Forever Moore left me in a big pile of emotions when I finished reading.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 21, 2019I think my most favorite thing was the old fashioned way in which "intimacy" was described.
I was a little wary, not sure if I would like this, but it was quite entertaining and cute. It's a comfort, feel-good, low angst, self discovery read. I was so involved in the relationship development of the main characters I almost forgot it was inspired by Snow White, until the apple moment, of course...
Really liked it. I'm even considering giving the first book of the series a try. After all, I think I like all the kissing as much as the authors.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 12, 2019I cannot believe I got through this one without tossing my Kindle across the room in a fit of laughter. Here is a brilliantly conceived take-off on a beloved fairy tale with a smug twist every step along the way.
It would pain me to relate how Little Lord Ansil and Huntsman Orien go from kidnapped and kidnapper to lover and lover--so I won't do it. The pain would come from my sides where my chuckling would get so frequent that I would have to stop and take a breath.
However. I digress.
This is a beautifully crafted, neatly written, and when the sheets are pulled back, supremely hot love story which will keep you guessing who is supposed to be whom when it comes to deciphering the real fairly tale behind this giddy exercise. You will fall prey to the longings of both Ansil and Orien, and delight in all the twists and turns that come about in the last part of the book.
Get it, grab your favorite cordial or brandy, and have a hoot.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 10, 2021There were a few things that bothered me about the story. Ansil (Snow Whitel is the only heir to a Dukedom but the it feels like author has no idea what a Duke is or what their place in society would be. The description is more like the mayor of a small village. It kept throwing me out of the story.
The second issue I had it the characters use overly formal and stilted dialog. I think the author was going for the fairy tale feel here, but it made the story feel forced to me. The words just didn't seem to flow smoothly.
That all said, it is not a terrible story. There are some nice adaptations of the classic fairy tale. Themes of forbidden love and a gay awakening story.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2019I admit I’m a sap when it comes to romance & I love my mm romance stories. What these two have done with Ever After & now this new fairytale, is pure romantic magic! I LOVED this book! I couldn’t put it down once I started! All the characters were well written & you loved each one. Especially the MCs! While it had pieces in common with Snow White, these authors made it their own & even if you know the story of Snow White, you still didn’t know exactly how this would play out. I loved every second of it & fell madly in love with the Little Lord & his Huntsman!!! I truly hope these two authors decide to create more gay fairy tales as they are treasures I will enjoy reading for years to come!
- Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2019I loved this book. The whimsy and magic of this retold tell will definitely make you smile swoon and probably cry at times. It's takes a story we well know the basics of and turns it into a new magical tell of "unconventional" love, at least unconventional of the times. The main characters are to die for as well an as the others. Definitely check these books out!!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 4, 2019The headline pretty much sums it up, I loved this book and if the beautiful artwork doesn't pull you in then the story definitely will. I like the POV's of the two main characters, Ansil and Orien, their connection was built very nicely and I found myself loving them together. I finished it probably within two days of receiving it and find myself rereading it constantly. I don't want to give any spoilers to the story but it does do a nice spin on Snow White and the Huntsman and sometimes it even had a Beauty and the Beast feel to it. I will say this is a cute read if you're into fairy tale retellings and hot men falling in love and getting dirty ;) Would totally reccomend and will definitely be buying more works from these authors and the artist of the cover!

A MM twist on snowhite and the huntsman. I liked it but had one minor gripe with the use of "Little Lord" being used as a term of endearment. Sure it is not so bad but when it is used in the bedroom, during s3x, you have to admit it is weird and I would think quite the boner killer 🤷🏽♀️ Other than that, I enjoyed the story.

4.0 out of 5 stars Carina
Una favola carina e piacevole per passare qualche ora serena. I personaggi sono piuttosto bidimensionali e la trama, basata su Biancaneve, non ha un'estrema profondità ma è una favola quindi è quello che ci si aspetta. L'ho letta molto volentieri.

4.0 out of 5 stars Aspec Rep Is The Only Thing Saving This For Me
A warning for readers. This book does have kidnapping and captivity in chains. All sex is consensual. It may affect some survivors and I found no warnings in the blurb or forward.
Forever Moore is a retelling of Snow White and the Huntsman. Snow White is gender-bent to become Ansil. The Huntsman is Orien, Orien lives with seven people who make up is adoptive family.
It is easy to see why so many DNF. Forever Moore is so different from Ever After. The core fairy tale elements are of course the same but there are some off-putting elements. Additionally, the pacing is off at times and at some points things don't seem to quite line up. It requires you to stop thinking, or focus on a single element. Some issues that need to be addressed. While Ever After's Merrick and Cassius only have a power disparity, Forever Moore has a whole lot of issues. Power disparity, age disparity (15 years not all that bad), captivity, homophobia.
The leading men are... well something. The analogy used for them in the book is Achilles and Patroclus, I really liked that. Orien frustrated me and I'm not entirely sure why. But the authors have as explicitly as possible coded him as aspec. For that alone, he's a likeable character. Ansil was sweet in a way. But I guess that's what you expect from Snow White. His innocence intrigued me. made me smile. The internalised homophobia felt becoming for the setting. I didn't expect his interests. The casts women of which there are 4 are fantastic. Fierce, feisty and strong despite the trauma they have survived. That is something I appreciated.
It was a great deal of fun for me to figure out who the "seven dwarves" were. They were well managed. They aren't in your face, their traits feel natural, human. The authors do make it clear eventually. The ages may be a little wonky. The ages and roles don't always match up. But I'm choosing to head-canon the Duchess as having a boy toy, it sorts out the biggest issue.
It's a struggle for me to rate this one. On one hand, we have questionable warnings and acts between inexperienced partners (some of which can be explained by Snow White and the Huntsman). On the other, we have wonderful women and the balls it takes to write an aspec character in a romance novel, a gay romance novel at that. Without the aspec this is a 3. But my love and need or decent aspec representation bumps it up. It's more like a 3.5.
