Excerpts from the Foreword
"It is a beautifully written book that goes deep into the psyche of a seemingly normal young girl who has a strange ability and a secret that will dictate her entire life.
Shalini doesn't rush with the narrative and is never in a hurry to show all her cards at once. She takes her time, allows the reader to meditate on the complexities of her characters, lets their inner turmoil and conflicts play out, and then gradually, like a very fine operatic piece, takes the narrative to its crescendo."

5.0 out of 5 stars Adroit read
Book review:
This book is a fictional read that shares a time travel fantasy in a unique style that one cannot stop reading. The story revolves around the protagonist Priya who is MBA student but something weird happened after her grandmother death on her eighteenth birthday.
A six month phase when she was juggling alone with her emotions and loneliness certain things changed her but she hardly remember that phase after so many years except her best friend. When she gets married to Arnav , she comes to Sheesh Mahal where twists and turns begin.
Her spending time in grand library provokes her hidden power of travelling in time and she gets in touch of a parallel world. Some forces bind her to fight for their justice. It's riveting to find out which world she chooses and who becomes her love ?
Certain quote from the book that inspire a lot and put a deep insight to our perspectives I want to share:
📌 " You must learn to control your emotions. "
The author has well penned the time travel of Priya that it was too easy to comprehend the both worlds. The storyline is weaved in an adroit manner. Diving through her rollercoaster ride in both worlds and conflict between choosing her love was riveting and captivating enough that I tried to finish this book in two sittings.
I liked reading this book and would recommend this fantasy book to all.
Happy Reading!

4.0 out of 5 stars A time travel love story
Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟. 25
Review:
When I first saw the cover of the book, my first impression was, it will be probably a vampire or Dracula story with romance. Basically has to be a romantic fantasy but then I read the whole, and it's not only a fantasy book but also has sci-fi element of time traveling. And the very dedication is to the readers-
"This book is dedicated to the ones who dream of stranger worlds."
So I was already intrigued as a fantasy lover.
In the story we follow Priya aka Priyadarshini, a 23 year old management student, who has a peculiar ability to back in time. And her romantic relationship with Arnav.
In the beginning the author starts the book with so many vague situations and poor explanations that you'll easily be at lost. But then in the second half the story keeps getting interesting as we are starting to discover the mysteries, the truth.
I absolutely like Priya's character, her struggles, her decisions making nature, everything makes her perfect for the book. Also the other two characters Arnav and Satya also done well.
The book is a romance heavy book and there's also a part of love triangle, a trope I don't like, but the sci-fi, mysterious side of the story makes me keep reading the book.
Another point worth mentioning in the book is the way the author portraits both the timelines beautifully - the 15th abducted the 21st century with perfect elements.
So I absolutely enjoys the well written, well crafted fantasy book, with a very interesting plot and complexity of time travelling. A must read if you're a fantasy sci-fi lover.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantasy
Priyadarshini is a studious girl and is taking life one step at a time.
Having lost her mother soon after her birth, she grew under the loving care of her grandmother.
But life became tough once her granny passed away. Her father married again. Though her step mother Geeta was empathetic towards her, Priya could never truly bond with her.
This is Priya's story. Her family, friends - Simmy, Anjali and the two men who are haunting her mind both I read and fantasy world.
What is in store for her ?
A intricately woven story. Recommended.

3.0 out of 5 stars Romance with time travel
It can be devastating to loose the only person you were ever close to. The pain of loosing her Granny makes Priya or Priyadarshini - our protagonist to loose almost six months of her life. She goes through a lot of trauma as her granny was the only person, she was close to. She ends up confused and heartbroken at her father's residence and there starts the story.
The story moves around the bollywood foes to lover troupe where we find the most handsome guy falling for a beautiful girl and ending up marrying her. But Priya is with her own struggles. She is having regular dreams of a place where she falls in love with another man - Surya. The story is fast paced and capturing. I completed around 170 pages in one sitting and was quite surprised as this is not my genre. The story moves smoothly without repetitions. I liked the way author presented the trauma faced by Priya and how difficult it is to explain what she is going through all the time, how she tries her best to mold in but is unable to do so. She is facing issues which makes her more connected to the readers. But I didn't like the way the story ends. I would have loved to see the connection with her Granny, what was the thing Granny was about to tell Priya, was is just a coincidence that she died, did she know about Priya's ability and all such questions were left unanswered. There could be many more areas left unexplored in the story. Even the concepts of time travel were difficult for me. But as it is said every reader is different and every writer has their own style, so these are just my personal observations. Overall the book is fast paced, entertaining and recommended, specially for romance lovers.

4.0 out of 5 stars Unpredictable, magical love story with lots to offer...
Priya grew up with her grandmother, listening to the stories of ancient kingdoms and princes. On her eighteenth birthday, when her grandma was going to tell her their family secret, she passed away. But something happened that day! Priya had an unusual experience she couldn't explain. Many years later, Priya is doing her MBA and is attracted to her alumnus and a professor at college. They get married, but Priya's heart lies with Satya, a man who exists in another world and another time. What is real, and what is a dream?
This book was a wonderful read. The author has beautifully created both worlds—the contemporary world and the world of the ancient past. The story is very layered, and I couldn't predict anything at all. I enjoyed reading it a lot. I really liked the chemistry between Satya and Priya and their love story. The book has a rich cast of characters, and there are a lot of twists and turns. There is mystery, love, and action, but also a touch of magic or sci-fi. I wish there were more fantasy elements other than time travel. The story was also a tad bit difficult to follow. However, overall, it was a good read.
