Forgotten (Heaven and Hell Club Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.6 out of 5 stars 120 ratings

They enjoyed impromptu passion. But is one steamy encounter enough to bring happily ever after to these two hurting men?

Leeds, England. Jared feels completely lost. After a devastating car accident left him with memory loss and brain damage, he has no idea who he really is or what he wants. But a flirty night with a gay pole dancer that leads to more serious sex just might be the healing he needs.

Kyrone is cracking under the weight of a promise to his late father. Struggling to finish the education he’s come to loathe, the only joy he finds is in a budding relationship with a gorgeous amnesiac. And as he spends his nights stripping at the club and his days caring for his damaged lover, the troubled young man begins to feel a new purpose awakening within him.

Despite crippling migraines and his own missing identity, Jared urges his sweet caregiver to embrace his true self. But with the vow to complete his degree hanging over his head, Kyrone is torn between the future he desires and his obligation to his dead dad.

Have two wounded souls met their perfect match to take them into forever?

Forgotten is the delicious second book in the Heaven and Hell Club contemporary M/M romance series. If you like strong characters, beautifully raw emotions, and tear-jerking dilemmas, then you’ll adore Colette Davison’s break-your-heart tale.

Forgotten is the second book in the Heaven and Hell Series that follows Kyrone, a pole dancer at Heaven and Hell and Jared, a tattoo artist that is just trying to find his way. Colette brings us another great book in this series filled with so much hurt/comfort and angst. Colette weaves a beautiful tale of love, loss, and finding a new path when it all seems so hopeless.

Kyrone encounters the intriguing Jared when he goes to get a new tattoo. Kyrone is immediately smitten and pursues Jared. Jared doesn't really know where he fits in and is just living his life day by day. The two embark on a beautiful relationship filled with overwhelming care, gentleness and passion.

Forgotten will leave you with a happy ache in your heart. You’ll want so badly to see these two make it through everything thrown at them. It was really sweet to revisit the Heaven and Hell crew as well. Forgotten can be read as a standalone or part of the series. I am excited to see which story we get next!

This is Book #2 in the Heaven and Hell Club. This can be read completely alone. This is the story of Kyrone, who is an exotic dancer and Jared a tattoo artist. Jared is new in town, he is still recovering from a devastating accident. He has amnesia he'll never recover from. Kyrone meets Jared for the first time in the tattoo parlor. Something about Jared just rocks his world. These two are hot, hot hot. But the underlying story is AMAZING. Through all the uncertainty Jared has, Kyrone is a rock, a safe place to land. This story touches you, these characters will stay with me for a long time. COLETTE DAVISON gets better with every book she writes. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!!!!

“Forgotten” by Colette Davison is the second book in the ‘Heaven and Hell Club’ series and features Kyrone, an exotic dancer and stripper, and Jared, an apprentice tattoo artist. The instant attraction between them is undeniable, but neither has figured out what his dream for the future is, since the past burdens each so heavily. Maybe together they will find a way to reach for freedom.

This contemporary gay romance is connected to the first in the series, “Broken,” but I was able to read it as a stand-alone story without any problem. Given the author’s note at the end of this story, I suspect the first book is much more angst-ridden and painful, and not quite what I’m ready for right now.

I enjoyed watching the connection flourish between the confident (dare I say cocky?) Kyrone, who is comfortable in his skin and the somewhat self-effacing Jared, whose background is gradually revealed. Once I learned about his handicap, I kept wincing at what I imagined might be revealed to be the cause, so I was apprehensive through some of the story and oddly relieved when the origin was revealed. Although subsequent revelations were still a bit dismaying, I still breathed a sigh of relief as the story unfolded.

I love stories that make me invested in the characters even as I learn a bit about other cultures and locales. Getting a chance to armchair travel while rooting for folks to get their happy for now ending is a nice bonus. I particularly like the message of learning to be comfortable in your own skin and living one’s life for oneself, rather than to fulfill someone else’s expectations. Richard Bach’s story used to be a favorite of mine as well, and I’m going to have to look for my copy, lol. Enough backstory is provided that I will eventually read the first book when I’m prepared to have my tissues in hand and learn the other side of the revelations from this book.

I will definitely be looking for other works by this author and I hope to see more of this couple’s journey in the future.

Whew! Forgotten is the book in the Heaven & Hell series that had me bawling like a baby! Let me start at the beginning. Hot Sex between 2 virtual strangers who decide to meet again and try their luck at dating. Jared & Kryone are so sweet together. The way Kyrone cares for Jared after learning about his illness. The trust Jared develops toward “Ky” even after poor dating experiences in the past is just part of this loving story. Of course it’s Jared’s break down for me that cracks my heart wide open for these two. Already Highly emotional Collete has the nerve to add surprising drama with Jag! this story will having you reading all night and annoyed at anyone who dares interrupt your reading including your partner, boss, teacher or DOM. LOL. See what I did there?

To imagine your memory as a clean slate with motor skills intact and language available for expression is to think yourself suddenly an idiot having no life lessons to call upon. Still, you discover again what love is and how it shapes your understanding of life.

Parts of this were really good and parts were so-s0. I liked Jared but would've liked more depth into his amnesia and treatment for it. Imagine completely losing your past, that would be upsetting to say the least. I would've liked to see more depth into Kyrone's character. As it was, I liked him and loved the way he took care of Jared but felt like I was missing more. Ultimately a good story and I'm looking forward to more from this author.

This book was amazing, heartwarming and also heartbreaking at times. I loved that we got to meet Jared and have his story told after hearing about his impact on Jag's life in the first book. It was an emotional read at times as Jared struggled with his amnesia and how that not only affected him, but those who knew him before. I loved meeting Kyrone and seeing how perfect he was for Jared - really, how perfect they were for each other. They brought out the best in each other, and supported them unconditionally. It was a beautiful read! I also loved that we get to see Michael, Jag and Mac, and see how the club is going these few years later. Cant wait to read more in this series, and more by this author. Definitely a book I'd recommend.
