I really liked the second part of this series a lot! With the addition of co-author Jennifer Theriot, the romance takes a step up and the whole feel of the story moves in a more daring and fun filled direction...but not without consequences.
When personal life drama hits professional life...things can get muddled and trouble starts to plague Dallas's career.
Women in the music business are often portrayed as either bitches or princesses or party girls with no talent...and Dallas is forced to defend herself as her actions (along with a wild partying guitar-picking friend) are questioned. A crazy night that should not have gone so far may hurt Dallas and lose her chance to live her big dream...but maybe she will have a second chance if she heeds some good advice?
This novella was light hearted at times, kind of maddening at others (the men really tick me off sometimes) and was just a good fun-time read.
Recommend for those who like a light romance served up with their country gravy musical stories...you will have a laugh out loud good time!

Fortune Brawling (The Fortune Series, #2) was a great read by Hunter S. Jones and Jennifer Theriot. Country musician Dallas Fortune is in a tight spot. Billie Joe McAllister has betrayed her again and her best friend Jodie Marie Jennings drives all night to come to her aid. Unfortunately things go bad at Bud's honky tonk in Georgia. This book goes through what happened and the consequences of it. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the authors.

I get a lot of free and cheap books. In my experience they are hit and miss and by this point I'm not even sure I pay attention to the titles anymore. I just read because reading is healthy (we're supposed to be reading often) I just love stories and books.

I loved book one and I was looking forward to the second in this series. It was so worth waiting for. This short treat that kept me thoroughly entertained while I waited in a crowded doctor’s office. I’m sure everyone was wondering what I was smiling about. Authors Jones and Theriot are wonderful writers. I read pretty much everything they write, and I’m never disappointed. Well done!

"Fortune Brawling" by Hunter S. Jones and Jennifer Theriot is one wild ride!

What happens when you have a gig at a Georgia night club with your bestie who is wild and reckless, add in your cheating ex boyfriend, some college sorority fangirls, a hot bartender and lots and lots of "To Kill Ya" shots? That's just it..... anything can happen! Once the alcohol starts flowing Dallas is out of control and is not representing her boss lady, Dolly Parton, very well so her attorney is called in to sort out the mess that occurred that March 31st night.

Wild and crazy and highly entertaining to read the stuff they got into in a few hours time! A nice short read that will leave you wanting more of Dallas Fortune and Jodie Marie Jennings!
