This personal testimony is an ode to the resourcefulness and dedication of Ann Lee, a best-selling author and devoted mother who draws joy in life and inspiration for her writing from her three children. She decided early on that learning how to cook was not only a good way to stay healthy but fundamental for her children as they grow up. Good and healthy food is a must for her family- especially the kids. Lulu the Tiger Cooking Adventures is her first series and combines her imagination with teaching children how to cook.

Her books facilitate early, age-appropriate learning and family literacy. Ann provides values and milestone-oriented structure that focuses on learning new vocabularies, numbers, colors, animals, friendships, kindness, sharing, age-appropriate cooking, and better eating habits, among many others.

    My niece would like more find the hidden items pages but she's enthusiastically worked her way through each activity and been disappointed when she ran out of pages.

    Author Ann Lee focuses on both writing fun children’s books (her children assist their mother in the creative process!), and healthy living through mindful cooking, Her books are not only entertaining as stories, but also provides lessons on such subjects as numbers, vocabulary enhancements, social skills, animals, friendships, better eating habits and money management. Her initial series was the Lulu’s Cooking Adventures, and now Ann initiates a new series - Lulu’s Adventures of which LULU THE TIGER AND FRIENDS EXPLORING SPACE is an enhancement of her successful LULU THE TIGER IN OUTER SPACE Book. Artist Budi Hebat creates the colorful illustrations.

    The star of the series is Lulu the Tiger, and in this volume the presentation is an activity book. No that children won’t learn from using it, but the purpose is to enhance learning by coloring LuLu and her friends in space outfits, learning dot-to-dot games, counting, finding the exceptional odd one out image, and more. In other words this well designed activity book by Ann Lee – and of course Budi Hebat’s drawings - is designed for entertainment as well as underlining learning about space themes.
