Friendship Heirlooms Series, Book 6: Clumsy Girl's Guide to Having a Baby (Friendship Heirlooms Inspirational Romance Series) Kindle Edition
Book Six Friendship Heirloom: Maturity
Clumsy Girl's Guide to Having a Baby is the follow-up to Clumsy Girl's Guide to Falling in Love. Clumsy Girl's Guide to Falling in Love begins the tale of Zoe Rossdale, the clumsy girl who always has her elbows, feet, eyes, and brass-red hair going in the wrong directions. Curt Bertoletti has spent years trying to forget the seriously messed-up Zoe and her embarrassing ways. Even as he vows that he won't stray again, he can't help remembering how well he and Zoe fit together. They'd truly been two abnormal peas in an even stranger pod. For better or worse, Zoe will always be Zoe--the clumsy girl with her dress tucked into her pantyhose, toilet paper stuck to her shoe and trailing in her wake. If Zoe will always be Zoe, the only question left is, can they both live with that fact? Forever?
Clumsy Girl's Guide to Having a Baby continues the tale of clumsy girl Zoe, back, married to the love of her life, Curt, and setting off on another crazy adventure--maybe the most fun and dangerous of all. Having a baby!

Review
5 Stars! "If you do not believe that a story about a zany, clumsy, married redheaded female can be funny, then read the Prologue. Zoë has the most humiliating - yet hilarious - pregnancy symptoms that a woman can get. During it all, Zoë is trying to support her husband's dream of setting up a branch of the successful family restaurant in Minneapolis. This means Curt has often been absent for the past five years. (Zoë remains in tiny Peaceful, Wisconsin. No big city for this clumsy lady!) She also has to deal with her father, who has never been there for Zoë. Worse, he now has a rocky marriage to Zoë's late mother's sister. I thought the story of Curt and Zoë dating and getting married was good, but now that the couple have been wed for over five years, it is even better. Romantic, hilarious, and highly recommended!" ~Huntress Reviews

This was a first for me, I’ve heard about people who are this clumsy, but never really met them. This book brought me into the mind and life of a clumsy married woman.
Clumsy Girl’s Guide to Having a Baby does not start at or before the marriage. It starts five years into the marriage. This was a simple love story, but a love story that does a fantastic job of depicting the marriage life. As the much anticipated follow up to A Clumsy Girl’s Guide to Falling in Love, it was a neat way to see what happens when the honeymoon is over.
I loved reading about Zoe’s clumsy “accidents”. They are hilarious to the point of being almost unbelievable.
It was so easy to visualize this young woman who trips over blades of grass or air. A young woman who gets into a lot of clumsy accidents and then she gets pregnant. Gets big and can’t see her feet. If for nothing else this book should be read for the hilarity of it all.
That being said, Zoe’s clumsiness is not the only story here and that is a good thing. The book has some serious parts which made it all the more real because a marriage is sometimes serious. Couples don’t always communicate well and sometimes they disagree. It’s real life. The romance is hot but the bedroom door is firmly closed.
A clever story told mostly from Zoe’s POV but with insight into Curt’s take on it all. A very entertaining read.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 16, 2016CLUMSY GIRL’S GUIDE TO HAVING A BABY, by Karen Wiesner. Although this is a sequel to CLUMSY GIRL’S GUIDE TO FALLING IN LOVE, you can appreciate the new novel without having read that one or any of the other books set in Wiesner’s fictional town of Peaceful, Wisconsin. This story unfolds partly in Zoe’s distinctive, funny first-person narrative voice and partly in third person from Curt’s viewpoint. The author makes both characters sympathetic and understandable. The interaction of feminine insecurity and masculine cluelessness is delightful and touching. Wiesner pulls off the most effective type of humor, in which the humorous predicaments aren’t funny to the protagonists suffering through them. At the same time, the serious aspects of Curt and Zoe’s relationship and the problems they grapple with remain convincingly real. The supporting cast features a charming group of quirky, relatable secondary characters. The reader doesn’t feel, as in some relationship-centered stories, that the hero and heroine live in a social vacuum. This novel also has inspirational content, and the religious dimension is realistically integrated into the story as a natural part of the couple’s life. By the conclusion, hero and heroine achieve a fully satisfying and believably well-earned happy ending. (I rated it 4 instead of 5 because of some typos.)
- Reviewed in the United States on March 2, 2017I freely chose to review this book as it is the next of the series, and I had to see what Zoe would do after Curt wanted her back. Would she forgive him and let him back and what about for dad and her aunt? Zoe had some growing up to do and she had to let go her hatred that her dad married her aunt. With his porn addiction, could she let the man that forced her out on the street and back in her life when he never showed her any affection? I liked that Curt made Zoe so happy after being married for five years, as most men start to verve off , and that he started his dream of opening a branch restaurant miles away, but he had his priorities wrong and was selfish and to try to get Zoe out of her comfort zone by wanting her to move away from the town she loved and her friends to live in a big city where she couldn't breathe even, I cheered when Zoe got her act together and learned her lesson that hatred is something that hardens your soul and turns you bitter. I am proud that Zoe made the right choice and I look forward to see what she's up to next!
