    Honestly I could drown on for hours about how deeply in love I fell with this book. The emotions it truly makes you feel are like no other. A definite difference from my usual reads, and it was a slap in the face on a reminder of why.

    It’s 12:30am and I am sitting in my living room literally bawling my eyes out over the end of this book. It was beautiful, magical and so emotional. This book was written with love and true emotions we have all felt at some point in our lives.

    The female main character was bubbly, energetic and everything I love about a woman. While our Male Main Character came in with a broody, reserved mindset but you fall In love with him quickly.

    This book took me 4 days to read, and as short as it was it’s not a shock to me on why. The emotions run wild in this one, and they grasp you from the very beginning. Holding my heart within its hands it ripped it to shreds before attempting to piece it together again. I truly loved this story, it is one of love, fear, friendship and memories. I think this will truly live on in my heart forever. And from one reader to the next, take it with caution. It will destroy you, but from what I’ve read on reviews for book 2, hopefully the author pieces us back together again.

    No regrets ever, not in this life or the next. I can’t wait to see what book two brings and I pray it brings a lot less tears.

    Once again, my eyes are full of tears as I review another book by Emma Scott, because her stories inevitably shred my emotions and touch my heart. Just when I thought nothing could surpass the perfection of Long Live the Beautiful Hearts, Full Tilt proved me wrong. OMG, THIS BOOK!     No lengthy plot summary from me this time; the blurb and numerous reviews are descriptive enough. But I can't pass up a chance to say how much I loved Jonah Fletcher, a true hero. His new heart may be failing, but his soul overflows with love as he rescues a troubled young rock star (Kacey Dawson) from a path of self-destruction. Traumatized by her father's cruel rejection, she's lost in an endless round of parties, booze and meaningless sex until Jonah opens his home and his heart to her, beginning a friendship that soon deepens into a profound and infinite love.

    Even as his health deteriorates, Jonah and Kacey find happiness in each other, sharing each precious moment remaining to them. Kacey tells him, "We might not have months or years, but we have moments. Thousands and thousands of them. Let's take each moment, seize it and wring it dry." And they do. Their intimate sex scenes are heart wrenching and beautiful, especially their tantric sex near the end. "Tears filled our eyes as our bodies rolled and slid, driving toward a bittersweet crescendo of pleasure. Tears for love. For loss. For the weeks he had, and the years he didn't.     Jonah creates exquisite blown glass sculptures, and he's determined to leave a legacy--an installation of his work in the Wynn Galleria in Las Vegas. (I had the pleasure of viewing an exhibition of Chihuly's sculptures in Denver and gained an appreciation for this truly breathtaking art form. Thanks to Jonah's story, I now know much more about this creative process.)

    Jonah and Kacey's love will last forever, because ". . . the universe is a vast place, and the soul of a human being is infinite, even if the body is temporary." But Kacey is not the only person Jonah loves. He's close to his parents but even closer to his brother (Theo), a brooding, talented tattoo artist who dreams of opening a shop of his own despite his father's disapproval.     I especially want to commend the author for her research into the "complex intricacies of heart transplants and chronic rejection." These details made the story seem even more real (and heartbreaking). Full Tilt #1 easily rates five stars and my enthusiastic recommendation!

    The writing in this book was wonderful. There was so much healing and acceptance on the pages. The pacing was perfect, I never felt like it was going too fast or dragging, everything was exactly the way it needed to be. While heartbreaking, it was also beautiful.

    I went in blind with this book and I can honestly say after losing my mum recently to a terminal illness I didn't expect to cry so hard at a book but it was written so beautifully and dignified I couldn't put it down! 5 stars all the way! High five Emma Scott!

    This beautiful, heartbreaking and unbelievable tragic love story, of which I cried or better yet was uncontrollable sobbing the whole last 15%, completely wrecked me.

    A heart breaking and heart wrenching page turner. At 92% I stopped reading as I knew this was going to break my heart but I finished it. Emma Scott did a fabulous job with this one. I loved Jonah and Kacey. They are so perfect. I loved the book.

    I had this this one on my kindle for months and I finally decided to dive in. AND I'm so glad I read it!! I totally understand why this story was loved so desperately by so many readers out there. Emma Scott had me turning pages way past my bedtime. Full Tilt is a true masterpiece and I loved every second of it. Flawlessly and poignantly written, Jonah and Kacey’s heart-wrenching, tragic, but truly beautiful love story touched my heart so deeply, I felt emotionally drained at the end of it.

    This book was absolutely everything!!! I loved its unique storyline and the characters so much. Kacey and Jonah were so very well fleshed out and so real. I was spellbound by the depth of their connection and the force of the feelings binding them. At times I seriously thought my heart was going to explode from all the love and amazing moments that this story possessed. Other times I was so overwhelmed with emotion, crying so hard I couldn't see the screen of my kindle.

    This is so much more than just a love story—this is a story of true love, a story of human endurance, of courage, about finding good in the now, about hope, and most of all a major life lesson we must all master in our spiritual evolution - living each day to the fullest like there is no tomorrow.
