    While this could probably be read as a stand-alone, I personally DO NOT consider it to be one because of the following:

    - It is the story of Fury and Ellie, as well as the series wrap-up for the Savage Brothers MC - Tennessee Chapter.

    - It is has multiple reoccurring characters from the interwoven MC universe created by Jordan Marie

    - Has overarching themes from previous stories and series that cannot be explored again in-depth.

    ** If you have not read any of the previous stories, the following may contain spoilers **

    ⛔️ Contains references to, or detailed scenes with subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some, including: adult language; derogatory terms; mental health issues; steamy adult intimate scenes with dominance, submission, restraints, “bottom” play, FFM, MF, MFM, dubious consent; violence stereotypical of the genre such as kidnapping, abduction, murder, death, coercion, assault, rape, stalking, blackmail, threats, drug use, drug distribution, money laundering, gun running, graphic torture, human trafficking, mental, physical and sexual abuse of adults and children, etc.

    There are grammatical issues throughout, but nothing difficult to interpret. These are primarily incorrect word choice, missing punctuation, missing words, and extra inserted words.     The world building and character development continues to be excellent, like all of the Jordan Marie stories that I have read to date. Her writing style really brings these anti-heroes to life, making the reader care about them, with the emotion dripping off the page.

    This story begins after Fury finishes his research in Florida at the orphanage and travels to Arizona to try and locate Torrent’s newly-discovered sister. Arriving in the state makes Fury this about his ex-wife, Ellie. He hasn’t felt whole since she left him 2 years ago when he left to follow Diesel’s order to find and eliminate his son’s drug addicted mother that had tried to kidnap their son.

    He stops into a bar for some alcohol after he updated Devil about what he went to the church that the little girl was sent to in Phoenix. For whatever reason his “member” came alive for the first time in what felt like forever, so he decides to take a local professional up on her offer, as long as she agreed to do it right there under the table …

    Ellie started working as a manager of a restaurant / bar after she left Fury and the MC in Tennessee. She was struggling with another migraine and couldn’t wait until her shift was over in a few more minutes … or whenever the often running late night shift manager arrived.

    One of her workers came in to complain about a lady they continued to have issues with every night it seemed. Too bad it wasn’t after her replacement arrived. Ellie goes out to address their problem only to find her getting ready to “get busy” under the table of … her EX-HUSBAND!?!

    She’s refreshing. When you have so many MC authors in my opinion have these unrealistic women. The women in stories are well rounded. They are flawed, but they love hard. The men are men’s men, alpha gets thrown around a lot, but some authors do not understand what a alpha man is. Jordan Marie male characters are kind of men who just walk in the room and you feel their presents.

    The story is of Ellie and Fury. Ellie is a woman who had trouble adjusting to biker life and to save herself walked away. She still loved Fury, but I feel she needed to find herself so that she knows to live in a biker life. Fury is man who pushes things a way and will figure it out later. He doesn’t realize that doesn’t work in a relationship. Having extremely different people figure out how to navigate their differences to make their relationship work.

    You still see the other characters. You have your usual drama. Jordan Marie writes a good story.

It took a lot of patience and overcoming a lot of obstacles but the finally got their HEA. I have truly enjoyed this series and am sad to see it end. I’m on to another of Jordan’s series though and can’t wait!

    I was pulled into the story right from the outset. I stayed until I had read every single word that was written. All the while I was watching it play out in my head with my mini movie.
    There are twists, turns and surprises throughout the story. Some of the surprises you may see coming, while others you won't. Some might even hit you between the eyes. Some of the surprises are large, while others are small. But each and every one of them is equally important as the next. They all have a hand in making the book the fantastic read that it is.
    Emotions run high in some places of the book. I felt each and every emotion that the characters went through. I did get annoyed at the main male character in certain places, I wanted to smack him or bang his head a couple of times. But he redeemed himself. i went through the emotions with the characters. But I cried a little more than the characters.
    Jordan Marie never fails to give us fantastic stories, with characters that that we can find very easy to love even if at times we want to strangle some of the characters every now and again.
    Jordan Marie, is one of my top ten authors. I love her books and I love her characters.
    This book is worth more than 5 stars i am only sorry i can't give it more.
    I look forward to what is next from her.
