‘Love is forever’ or so thought Diya.
Shy, bookish and loving, Diya never thought she would ever need to be anything else.
Her charmed life slips away from her in ways, she never imagined.
Will Viren be able to sort the jumble of their lives or is it already too late?
A bittersweet story of life, longing, and lasting love.

Generously Yours is a short is sweet kind of love story. A story which reaches to core of your heart and makes you think "Life is so uncertain".

Loved Inderpreet's debut work but found the end little abrupt. But Generously Yours is a generously heart-touching love story.

I know Inderpreet ever since I contacted her to edit my book ‘The Fragile Thread of Hope’. Right from her first reply, I knew she was a true professional and completely dedicated to her work. She did a stellar job with my book, and due to her wonderful eye to detail, my book got the polish it so badly needed.

A few weeks ago, I was pleasantly surprised while scrolling through my Facebook timeline. I found out that Inderpreet had written a book too. I never knew she was so multi-talented—book reviewer, editor, and now an author too! I bought the book immediately and began reading it.

I realized a bit late that it was a short story, not a book. Nevertheless, even in just a few pages, the talent of the author shines. She has poured a lot of emotions in the story—love, loss, longing, frustration, contentment, pain. Diya reminded me of a character from my book, Fiona, as she grapples with her past after losing a loved one. I loved how different objects in the house reminded Diya of her past and emotions associated with it. It was shown rather than told, so I truly appreciate that aspect of Inderpreet’s writing. I really liked how she has written the character of Diya and shown her strength despite her pain. After all, despite all the sufferings we endure in life, we have to move on.

Inderpreet’s language is simple and lucid and flows really well. She has done a very good job in this short story, and I hope to see more books, especially longer works of fiction, from her.

4 stars from my side. I recommend this short, sweet story to everyone.

Generously Yours is a story of Diya and Viren. Life can never be smooth and easy, it's about Diya who lost her love, Viren.  It's a short story, of 18 pages. How Diya is trying to get back to her normal life. Firstly, I loved the cover and the title. It's impressive. I loved how the story started. The writing style of the author is commendable. She described each and every moment beautifully. The language used by the author is simple and easy. one will instantly connect with the story.

The way she described Viren's natures, Diya's character excellent. I fell in love with Viren's Character. The pace and the flow of the story are smooth and crisp. The writing style of the author is amazing. Life never stops! she conveyed the message in a crisp and simple way. The narration of the story is again exceptional. The plot of the story different.

It tells how Love helps us to get through each and every situation. The author describes Diya's state of mind in a wonderful way. Her struggles, depression, love, everything. One can relate to each and every word.

I would love to read her book.

It's a short, light, quick read full of emotions.

This is a story that packs all the emotions of love, loss and grief in a very subtle albeit powerful way.
The cover and the tag line to the title really intrigued me as to how would the story be
right from the first word in the story, i just flowed into the story. I actually loved the way the story has been narrated in a very unhurried and leisurely, pace. As I read through the story I wanted so many questions answered and the author sure answered all of them by the end.
This was a short read but a very crisp one at that. I am looking forward to read longer stories by the author.

5.0 out of 5 stars How should Diya carry on with life? Can she find or make herself anything without Viren?
Reviewed in India on May 30, 2018
For a debut book, it is pretty good :)
Inderpreet Uppal has weaved a story which fleshes out the characters, their lives, their traits, how opposites attract and their love for each other.
The characters are just 2 and fill up the entire story. Loved how they grow with each page for the reader.
The description of the houses was so clear, I could visualize each part.
The story left a heart breaking but warm feeling within you. The emotions are portrayed so realistic.
More of the story please. A full fledged novel, if you will. Inderpreet Uppal I am sure everyone is waiting to know more about Diya :)
