Gabe (an Enemies to Lovers novel) (Blue-Collar Billionaires Book 3) Kindle Edition

4.5 out of 5 stars 1,376 ratings

USA TODAY bestseller

There’s a saying, ‘He could sell a dildo to a nun.’ (What? Isn’t that how it goes?) Well, that’s me. Hell, I could sell it to her and make her think it was HER idea.

So when my brother wants me to help a friend with her new business, I figure I can get out of it, no sweat. Until I realize his friend is Sasha Whitman, the one woman who saw through my game immediately.

Sasha is an innocent good girl who follows the rules and goes to church on Sundays. Totally not my type. Except she somehow puts me in my place unlike anyone else. She deserves a hell of a lot better than me but I can’t seem to stay away from her.

And when my past comes back to haunt me, I'll have to learn the hard way that there are some things you can't talk your way out of.

Gabe is by M. Malone and is book 3 in the Blue Collar Billionaires series. I had a hard time putting it down when I first started it and simply couldn’t put it down when I came back to it. It is absolutely wonderful. M. Malone has done a fantastic job with characters and plot. The suspense is riveting.
Gabe has begun meeting with his father on a regular basis even though he doesn’t like it. His father abandoned him and his brothers long ago and now wants to get to know them. If it wasn’t for Zack, he probably wouldn’t have done it, even for the money. However, the money has been put to good use. Gabe is determined to find out what their father has been doing all these years and why he deserted his four boys and their mothers. Gabe grew up with Zack but did not know Tank and Luke existed until his father returned. Why did he return? What is he hiding?
Sasha had a dream. She wanted to sing professionally but on her debut, she flubbed up, as usual, and humiliated herself on television. You would still find the video on utube. Her family wanted her to settle down with someone safe and start a family. Sasha didn’t have the best luck with men but she knew she didn’t want the life her sisters and Mother had. Since she didn’t make it professionally, she does sing in nearby clubs and has decided she wants to open a Jazz club. At first her sisters and mother are behind her but at the last minute, pull their support and their money. However, her father and his brother , behind their wives backs, put their money into her effort. They believed in her. Now all she has to do is wade through the paperwork and red tape and find cash to set the club up.
Sasha attends a party put on by her best friend Kay and her husband Whit. Here she meets Gabe and is blown away by his looks. Before she knows who he is, they get to talking and find they can easily talk to each other. Of course, Gabe knew who she was as his brother asked him to help her out with the business end of her project. When he gets around to offering, she turns him down, probably a mistake.
As she sets out to set up her club and Gabe ties to figure out his attraction to Sasha, they get involved with the Irish Mob and other sinister men. Can they find their way out? Will it mean the end of their relationship?

Gabe and Sasha's story was fun. I loved Gabe, he's sexy and he's got that bad boy mysterious thing going, but you can see his good heart. Sasha is a good girl who's past bad decisions and embarrassments has her playing the tough, independent role to a T. Together they realize they can let their guard down, that is until things start getting too deep emotionally and danger unknowingly follows Gabe and threatens his new relationship. Good storyline, sexy love scenes (just be patient), nice twist and turns in the plot and I'm always happy to see Eli and Gabe' brothers. I'm sure I'll be curious enough to see what happens next and continue with these blue collar billionaires.

Even with the story being predictable, I still loved it. M. Malone knows how to write about tortured souls. She manages take you on fun journeys to love. She can also frustrate you to the point of throwing your e-reader. I really wanted to slap Gabe up side the head for being such an idiot. You never know it your characters will manage to find love until the end. M. Malone also does a really good job of writing in alternating points of view. I love The Blue Collar Billionaire Series. It is definitely fun.

A sexy guy who loves to restore old cars and so happens to be a great business owner. A R&B diva who is too shy to sing in front of big crowds, but wants to open her own jazz club. Gabe and Sasha dont' hit it off at first, but destiny has other plans for them.

    M. Malone does it again. Fun, lighthearted, and romantic as hell! I loved this book. If your looking for a good read, this is it. Sasha was introduced in The Alexander series and has popped up in the prior books of this series and it's so great to see her finally find love and happiness. M. Malone has a way of making a persons real-life insecurities and making them feel universal.

The book is not too heavy and not too light...it's just right!

This is the 3rd book in the series of Blue Collar Billionaire. While it was entertaining, it was also my least favorite. To be honest, I'm not really sure why. I liked Sasha a lot; I loved her independence, her innocence and her optimistic spirit. I also liked Gabe but felt like I really didn't know him, it was harder to figure out his motives and what made him tick. Their love felt less passionate and the story in general didn't have those special, romantic moments that make you go awwww! Gabe was just a less interesting character., particularly compared to Tank (my favorite) and Finn. As always, I think the books end too abruptly.

I hope the magic and passion that was so wonderfully front and center in the other books reappears in the next book featuring Zack.

I was never really drawn to Sasha, but she really shines in this book! And Gabe is....swoon! I love everything this author writes - her characters are captivating, her stories is multi-dimensional and the Marshall bros. and their families are as intriguing as the Alexander's world. I wish this story would have continued a bit more.....I was hooked on this couple! I hope Zach's story reveals more about the big surprises at the end of this book...

The premise is that Gabe is a bad boy and not able to be good enough for Sasha but that all seems to be in the past. Lots of back and forth and angst, along with mystery about his dad. The roster of characters is confusing since it's been awhile since I read the previous book. Gabe and Sasha get an HEA but there are a lot of unresolved matters at the end of the book regarding his dad. 3.5 stars

Gabe is the Hustler of the five brothers. The one who already has experience in conning people and - more than once - has chosen the dark way to support his family. Now all of these things are going to come back and bite him in his ass.
I loved Gabe's story. It was so honest and real and cut me deep most of all when it seemed to be the end. I almost shed some tears and that means somethign for a cold hearted woman like me :D

5.0 out of 5 stars ... pull me into the lives and loves of these wonderful people created just for our enjoyment
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on March 14, 2015
Once again Minx has managed to pull me into the lives and loves of these wonderful people created just for our enjoyment. It feels like that you are sitting on their sofa, with a glass of wine while you bitch about what Gabe has done that has made Sasha so mad. Sasha and Gabe become your friends, you are immersed into their lives, their loves and their troubles as if you were there in their confidences. Minx Malone has a wonderful way of grabbing you by the throat while you listen to the characters' trials and tribulations and you are there from beginning to the bitter end, laughing, crying and shouting at the idiotic things that Gabe manages to do, not to mention Sasha's family (her mother and sister I would love to slap!).
Thank you so much Minx, once again a wonderful book.

These brothers are interesting. All have their baggage. Gabe had it tough growing up and was not looking for love. Best these books are read in order to understand each brother but not a must as they are stand alone. It does involve a lot of names so its good to know who is who. I love how these men are taken off guard and fall in love when the right one comes along. Involves a windfall from their rich father who was not in their lives so also good to read from start.
