    Even though Game On is part of a series, it can totally be read as a standalone. However, this series is soooo good! In my mind, the first book in this series is Slaying the Player where Jax creates the Ultimate Boyfriend Box Company, followed by A Sinfully Unrequited Series in which 5 best friends, all suffering from unrequited love, agree to use one of the UBB's with a random guy to get over their crushes. In Game On, Everleigh is in love with her father's best friend/business partner Victor who is super-hot and 15 years older than her. I loved this story from the prologue to the epilogue. I would describe it as a father's best friend trope with daddy/babygirl-lite sprinkled on top - lots of steamy goodness. I would definitely recommend this book and cannot wait for The Flip Side of Game On to see Victor's POV.

    I received an ARC copy of this book from the author for an honest review, but I've also pre-ordered it.

    What a story! Everleigh is a bit of a spoiled girl whose dad isn’t partners with Victor in an upscale bar. Victor’s age falls somewhere between Everleigh and her father. She has a huge crush on Victor and he simply dismisses her. As the reader, you can tell he is fighting his feelings for her. She comes home after college to work for her dad, Victor has moved halfway across the country. She is doing well professionally and Victor refuses to see how she has grown up. Then, the romance box! They are both done for after that. That school girl scene is, just wow!! You have to reward for that scene alone and for when dear old dad plays matchmaker. It is so good and laugh out loud fun! A definite must read.

    Can we proclaim Alexia Chase as Queen of the short stories? Every time she releases a new one I get so excited cause I know they just keep getting better.
    You’re going to love this couple, it’s a little bit like enemies-to-lovers and the chemistry is amazing.
    I like how she makes him jealous without even trying and that we get to read about all the friends at the end.
    I can’t wait to read the Flip Side because I already know is going to be so good!
    It’s also steamy! I don’t know how Alexia keeps getting new ideas and I still think she’s one of the best at dirty talk, lol. Get ready to take notes.

    This is part of the 5 friends- 5 ultimate fantasy boxes Series

    This is an age gap story about Everleigh who has been crushing on Victor since he tutored her in high school. Victor is her father's business partner and 15 years older than Everleigh.
    Everleigh and her girlfriend snuck into her dad's nightclub trying to get Victor's attention. She got it all right when he dragged her out of the nightclub, put her in a car and sent her home. Now 5 years have passed, she graduated and has her MBA and works for her dad's company as an Expansion Manager. Victor has been living in California but is back because of a business deal Everleigh wants to close on and had no idea she worked in the company. Needless to say he's none too crazy about the deal and thinks she is flirting with the owners and when the mention of the fantasy boxes comes up Victor sees red.
    Will he ever see her as a grown up? What could possibly go wrong?

    I enjoyed seeing some of the characters from the other stories in the series.

    My first book by this author.
    The book excerpt and prologue really draws you.
    It was all good until chapter 9. When they went to the club in Vegas. When she was meeting her dad and Victor walked in and things got hot fast and then her dad walked in like it was nothing. I feel like we skipped a few steps. Why wasn't her dad upset? Did Victor talk to him beforehand? Also, your friend and long time business partner talking about knocking up your daughter, ew. I thought it was weird her dad picking out specific clothing to take to Vegas, like the tiny yellow bikini. After Vegas things seem to zoom by. Overall it was a good book.

    Loved this story! Have been waiting on everleigh and victors story from the beginning. Something about an age gap as well as dads business partner that was just so hot along with the boyfriend box experience. Loved their dynamic. Their heat and chemistry while arguing was almost like foreplay. Loved that dad wasn’t an obstacle and helped facilitate them getting together. Can’t wait for victors side.
