I loved this book. I enjoyed the strong friendship between Noelle and Eve. This two woman are sisters from different mothers. It had to be hard for Noelle growing up loving Eve, yet longing to be seen by others as she was eclipsed by Eve's perfection. Once she fell for Corey she just wanted the prize of his attention all for herself, but being Eve's friend and shadow, she did not have the confidence to make it happen. Aaron was equally hesitant, he missed his opportunity also. Noelle and Aaron's plan was misguided and based on preconceived assumptions regarding who Eve and Corey represented and projected to others. Eve and Corey both had insecurities, hopes and desires that they kept hidden from their families and friends. That goes to show us that the "cool kids, are not perfect, they too have flaws and cracks" and money does not always ensure happiness.
In the end, Noelle and Aaron just clicked, they truly complement each other, the yin to yang. Noelle grew in confidence and that is always sexy. Aaron, wow he was confident, self assured and had no problem making his partner feel empowered and sexy. I loved that aspect of Aaron's character. He impressed me as being more mature then his peers.
Corey demonstrated that he was insecure regarding his future after college and his behavior was a response to his uncertainty and the desire to continue being relevant for as long as possible. Eve stood up for herself and expressed her desire for a different career path then the one her family had always assumed for her. Eve was more than a beautiful face, she has depths ready to be explored and I look forward to reading about her adventure.
