    This novella was the perfect little continuation of Grace, Kurt, and Levi's story. It shows a completely different side to each character, even Mamma and Mack. Do you know the feeling that you get when you're prepared to hate a character but then end up liking them when they do something uncharacteristically sweet? Yeah, that's how I feel about Levi. You really start to understand him a bit more in this novella and know that when you get to know him even more, you'll be blown away. I can't wait to read the next book to see how he fares with Grace!

    Nice little filler though I wouldn’t call this a book 2 more a 1.5 novella. Next story is truly book 2. I didn’t see many errors in this one except several times the second letter was also capitalized. Those should be fixed. Are the betas pointing these errors out?

    Overall I like what’s happening with Levi but also I think it’s somewhat silly in allllll his long long long life he’s only loved one person. Just one and she messed with him so bad that he swore off anyone? And sex? Really? I know people swear off sex but he does observe so it’s not like he’s completely abstinent. But the reasons are flimsy really. Though I’m interested to see about his anger.

    Plus I want to know more about Grace and also if they ever find out about the purple her being real…..cause like come on. They need to figure it out soon. I’m also probably going to be frustrated by Levi’s hot and cold with Grace. Still I’m in it.

    I wasn't sure if I'd enjoy this book (as I usually despise Christmas themed stories), but DAMN! I was wonderfully surprised! I am so happy I made this purchase. There is some character development in this book that is needed for the rest of the series, and I'm thankful I didn't skip ahead. Needless to say, Christmas may be my new fave holiday.

    This is a novella featuring characters from Jade's book "Kurt's Honour." It can be read as a standalone but to really enjoy it I recommend you read Kurt's book first. This takes place after Kurt and Grace, with help from Levi, the Brotherhood, and various other interesting characters, have vanquished a threat to the city with great risk to themselves. Grace has never had a Christmas celebration with family and they want to give her one. Of course with two alpha guys and a woman with unknown powers, this doesn't exactly end up like a Hallmark channel family dinner (lol). But it is funny and sexy.

I loved the simplicity of an event we all take for granted being made special by chosen family, friends, and good wine ;) Well worth a read to get a better feel for the relationship dynamics between Levi and Kurt, Kurt and Grace, and Grace and Levi. And oh the steam!!! Wow. Though it completely fits into the story, it's not just tagged on there. This is a really enjoyable dip into more relaxing times for the characters. As for where it finishes, I can't wait to see how that plays out in the next book.
