Review
Gubble Bubble Kingdom is just the magical place our toddler was wanting to visit. Author Denise McCabe has created a delightfully fun adventure with our two young heroes. By Rose
I've been Gubble Bubbled .
This is a very fun book to read. It's magical how two young children, Sean and Ava, get caught in a bubble and are blown to Gubble Bubble Kingdom. The illustrations add to the excitement of this story and so does the format of each sentence. As you read them, you will feel you're on your way, floating in one of these fantastic bubbles! - Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2015Gubble Bubble Kingdom is just the magical place our toddler was wanting to visit. Author Denise McCabe has created a delightfully fun adventure with our two young heroes Ava and Sean as they set out to save the kingdom from a silly court jester who has created a bubble of a mess. With the King and Queen’s plea for help, our heroes must find a way out of this sticky mess and help make everything right and bright. It’s a wonderful adventure full of bubbles and colors and lessons about working together. With lots of whimsical fonts and fun flowing sentence this great storybook comes to life. Da’an Yahya has done a beautiful job illustrating this cute children’s picture book, and everything looks charming and colorful on all our devices.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 18, 2018Ava and Sean are playing in the backyard blowing bubbles. Suddenly a giant gust of wind swoops down. The bubbles envelop the siblings. Soon they are whisked into the clouds. When they spot a grey castle, the two decide to force their bubble down to earth. They discover the queen and king are also trapped in a bubble. The court jester decided to play a joke and clean the entire kingdom. Now all the subjects are acting in a silly way. Ava and Sean agree to help the rulers who instruct them to go to the different rivers at Rainbow Mountain and mix the colors. Will Ava and Sean succeed in restoring color and order to the kingdom below?
The storyline is clever; all children love bubbles. Illustrations are simple and colorful. Some of the text is a bit advanced for the preschool through kindergarten targeted audience. I would recommend the book mainly to the five through the eight-year-old audience.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 26, 2015I read this to my grand niece who is five and her name is the same as one of the main characters called Ava and she was enthralled. It wasn't just her namesake however that gave her enjoyment. This is a beautiful children's book, full of great colourful illustrations with a simple story that our Ava certainly enjoyed. I chose my audience well as I thought if I was going to give a review then I would engage the services of an expert. The verdict, she literally gave me a big thumbs up when I asked her what she thought and then summed up her opinion in two words that I will share to complete my review... Loved it.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 24, 2015I am writing in response to my daughter's reaction to this book. There were a few words that were difficult for her to read (7 years old) However, this book is perfect for the assisted reader. The pictures were large, vibrant, and cute! My daughter explained to me that her AR books for school are similar to these and should almost have a grading level on the front cover to help aid the reader on the reading level. If this book had that addition, had some words that were easier for the reader, this book would be a 10 in my eyes.
Well off to bed I go as I will be reading again to my two girls! -Richard Turman - September 15th

- Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2015What kid doesn't like to blow bubbles? This silly tale reminded me of a story that my daughter would make up and we would all enjoy! The illustrations were bright and engaging. My only complaint would be that at times the plot was a bit complicated.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2015This book is an entertaining and engaging illustrated children’s book. We follow Sean and Ava through their adventure in the Gubble Bubble Kingdom. It begins, simply enough, with something most children enjoy doing, blowing bubbles. From there the children launch out into a fantastical adventure. The illustrations are colorful and compliment the story nicely. The story itself is one that children enjoy and want to hear again. Denise McCabe is a talented children’s author whose works are children tested and family friendly.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2015Such a cute story! I really loved it, funny and entertaining with beautiful and colorful pictures. I would certainly recommend it to young readers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Colourful and fun!
My children love blowing bubbles, there's something special about watching them grow then float on the breeze. So what better way to set off on an adventure than inside a giant bubble? The story takes you on a journey over Gubble Bubble Land, to the Rainbow Mountain to rescue the kingdom. This is a fun story with vibrant illustrations and my children loved it.
