When Lola has free time she will most likely be found outside riding her horses or being entertained by her rescued mini’s, her dogs and cats. Lola has a passion for feeding the wildlife and enjoys watching them come and go on her property.

If indoors, Lola is usually cooking up new recipes, reading or is in front of her computer dreaming up who she hopes is the perfect couple.

As you can see in photo 2 books came with stains I can't decipher and one on bottom not so bad but still stained. This is not first time I've received defective items took a lose during holidays. It's sad I just ordered today some more books hopefully in better conditions, not cheap items either

    I discovered this book via a facebook ad and was excited to see it was available through kindle unlimited. I liked it so much that I went back and bought it in case I’d like to re-read it 😅I have been on a big MC novel kick lately and was a little hesitant because I was just wanting a quick read. It was definitely worth the read. The author has a way with words and I easily sped through the book desperate for more of the characters. There were multiple times my husband asked what was happening in the book because I was laughing or making faces 🤣 The book does touch on sensitive topics but the author does a great job of talking about them in a respectful way. I loved the strong kickass female lead and the biker that turned to putty for her.

    The supporting characters were also great and loved how Ava got her family. Not a huge fan of OW drama but I think with MC novels it can be unavoidable sometimes but I love how this author handled it. Not to spoil anything Ava can clap back 👏🏻

    Last but not least the spicy times 🥵 I would give it 🌶️🌶️🌶️/🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. Not anything too crazy but enough to heat up your kindle.

    Would recommend if a fan of MC novels, romance/action, hilarious antics/characters and found family ❤️

    Loved the way the author portrays each of the men of the MC and integrated each into the story.
    Ave has always wanted a family other than the one she created with her funny and loveable pets. Loki her big teddy bear of a protector dog. Duffy is her big grumpy cat. Gee her funny skateboarding pig. Then we have Mac the very smart and naughty talking parrot.
    She meets Gunner and we watch the story unfold in a great way.

    I was hesitant buying this book, mainly because of the negative reviews. Having been burned before when there are overwhelmingly good reviews I ignored and bought books that I should not have. Sometimes the bad reviews have it right.

    So why did I take the chance with this book, a new author at that? It is simple really, because it was recommended by a fan of Lani Lynn Vale on that authors page. Now, I am not usually that easy but I am in a book drought and I liked the idea of a heroine with crazy pets, a woman who was overwhelmingly talented, she was who she had to be, a survivor.

    I get why some of the reviewers thought she was over the top, achievement wise, but you know what impressed me most, there was no over the top girly TSTL drama or long drawn out silly miss understandings, she used her common sense, she was no push over and made Gunner respect her, and learn about her, knowing that someone like her had a story.

    Gunner was amazing, alpha male who made some mistakes, but again, he never lost his sense of fairness, he owned up to his mistakes, they where a couple that other authors would have wasted our time with over the top angst and drama, not this author, kudos for that,

    You will laugh, you will cry you will cheer a heroine on who is strong, capable without any feminist preaching, thank goodness.

    I loved all the characters and I would love to see many of them get their own stories, Axel first though. Here is also hoping the author will keep pets as integral part of the story line, MAC will need to feature in future books he is a riot.

    So yes, I recommend this book, 4 solid stars. Read the good reviews, read the bad and hopefully mine will give a insight that will help you decide

I appreciated Ms. Wright’s use of conversational and internal dialog revealing Ava and Gunner’s dreams and vulnerabilities. The banter between Ava and some of the bikers is hilarious. Her use of descriptive language paints vivid and memorable scenes. One such scene is when Ava is escapes the clutches of her abductors and hides in the woods. This scene and others capture the reader’s attention. Nice job, Ms. Wright!

    I've read this book (and the whole series) a few times already, and if one book makes you go want back to the story again and again is a good sign! This has romance, good comedy and action all in one. Even though Ava and Axel are my favourite, every story makes me fall in love with new characters.
