    Didn’t find the book to the diviners game until recently. Then it sat in my queue. Which I’d seen it sooner. Now that I’ve read it, kinda want to read the whole arc over again. No Queens were hurt in this story. Maybe aftertaste the story tho.

    A great mix of discovering new facets of the Houston Hub world, playing with D/s and switching roles, and enacting fiery vengeance on your tormentors.

    Genesis turns out pretty badass, and if he ever feels like it, might wind up royalty, if he can use his father’s claim to the throne…and if he leaves anything of that world standing once he’s done. I suspect he’s happy with foxes, and only if the queen tries something will he turn his power on Morgaine.

    Jennifer Cody's books are and have always weaved beautiful stories. I do love the Universe of the Houston Hub the most. To watch everything unravel and everyone find their special person(s) is an amazing ride that keeps you enthralled from beginning to end. There is never a time during the exploration of this universe that'll detour you or make you lose interest. I'd be surprised if you didn't want to reread it afterward. Therefore, I totally recommend buying your own copies that you'll be able to revisit when you like.

    If you've read the Houston Hub series, this a great way to see a quick glimpse of some old favorites and learn about some new characters in the same world. It's also kinky and lovely and adorable. Also if you're like me and read the Houston Hub books before the last one came out, then this is a good reminder that this author likes HEAs, even if it takes awhile to get to them.

    These two are wonderful. I think my favourite thing about Jennifer’s stories is that the characters and their mates live happily ever after, and they reappear often in other characters’ books, so you are constantly reassured that they are still happy, healthy, and madly in love lol
    Loki and Gage will always be my absolute favourite; but, each character is loveable.
