I first purchased this book last year and went through the content with 4 friends who were at different places in their perspectives and experiences with Christianity.
One of the strongest attributes of this book is that the author acknowledges and practically cares for the attention spans and commitment levels of the reader by including simple but powerful reflective questions, various quotes as well as a “catch up” page for those who have limited margin for this type of thing. The author does this without sacrificing content which makes the devotional approachable for all persons - male and female, young and older, as well as a follower of Christ or not.
This 2021 season I will be utilizing this book once again with a different set of persons and am confident that everyone, myself included, will glean new perspective from its pages.
