    This is the first book in a new series by Em. Maya Ray and Noah have both just been dumped. Their exes are now in a relationship. They meet at a party where they are both checking out the person their ex is with now. They quickly fall into bed together. Then the real fun starts the next morning when they figure out that their exes are now together. So they figure why not pretend to be together as well to irritate their exes. But what happens when they begin to have real feelings for each other. They are a better match together than they ever were with their exes. What if the other doesn't feel the same? Could they have a happily ever after despite how they started? This book was a fun read. The ending leads more into how WEST protection is started. So to me this is more a prequel but that is just me. This book was a great read and I really enjoyed it. I look forward to reading more books in the series.

    This book was hot from the get go! The chemistry between these two was hot. I loved the sexy banter right from their first meeting.

    I really liked the banter between these two and also the chemistry. Everything started out backwards in the traditional sense but yet it worked for them.

    Noah was a cowboy through and through. He was a hard worker, a family man and likes traditions. It was easy for me as a reader to see immediately why he and his ex didn't work out.

    Maya Ray at times seemed to be a little more clueless about her growing affection for Noah or maybe is was talking about more when Noah was in the lead. She was the one that took awhile to figure out that this was more than just making their ex's jealous, that there was something there.

    I loved the ending of this book. It was so bittersweet and gave me all the fuzzies.
