    This lady is by far my favorite author. I like how characters from past books show up in this book. I like that there isn’t alot of stress, but a whole lot of love. Her books are all worth the read and I can’t wait for the next one. I will say I didn’t want it to end and I hope the next book has more of a presence of the two MC.     My review for “The Taste Of Her” Leila and Camille’s Introduction was a request for the obvious follow up to not be long in coming and it wasn’t. Leila and Camille are an intriguing couple. This story is a lesson that things in Madeira do not stay in Madeira. That alone takes this half of the story to places we can only imagine. I love this couple especially as they were growing together. I loved the story. Could we see a Book 3?

    Following on from the wonderful novella ‘The Taste Of Her’, which you MUST read first, we thankfully get the continuation of the story of Leila & Camille set a few months after their holiday romance in Madeira in which Leila has now ended up working just by chance for Camille’s company. So they meet again, having never expected to, and Camille is reluctant to fall straight back into Leila’s arms. A frivolous but unforgettable holiday fling is one thing, but to acknowledge that she is in fact really attracted to women takes a lot more persuasion when it could affect her work and home life. Can Camille really resist the undoubted charms of the beautiful Leila or will she finally free herself from her comphet life?
    Claire H-S has scored another hit with this story of a late blooming sapphic romance between two mature characters that started as a holiday fling in book 1 that now develops in book 2 into a more complicated coupling between the two wonderfully realised MCs. I love that Claire consistently includes characters from her previous novels, the Woodington Sapphic community you could say, which gives the reader an added sense of a real interconnection between these amazingly entertaining & spicy stories.

    These characters are so perfect for each other. Yes it takes a while for them to fully understand that, but once they do, fireworks.
    I also love the addition of previous characters, it’s nice to catch up with everyone.

Leila & Camille, coincidentally reunited in the UK after that hot interlude in Madeira, raised each other's temperatures even higher than before, eventually.
