I was excited to dive into another book by Olivia Marie. I have enjoyed everything that I have read from her and always look forward to her upcoming books.
I worried for my emotions when this book has to do with animals, as I know that Marie knows how to tug at readers' heartstrings. I was very curious to see where this story would go. Things took an unexpected turn and from that point on I could feel Hayden's frustration as she struggled to remember and understand who she was and what had happened. It was very well-written to have the reader feeling each emotion along with the main character.
I really liked this book and found it to be very unique. It didn't take the path I expected, and I think I liked it even more for that reason.
