    The prologue completely pulled me into this one. I love Luther's writing and couldn't wait to see where this story would take me.
    The dilemma posed in Chapter One had me even more hooked on following along and getting to the conclusion.
    The banter between Adella and Parker kept me smiling, even as the plot got more emotional and intense.
    The twists in Chapter Ten were incredible and absolutely wrecked my mind and trust.
    This story shook me to my core by the end of it and was an unforgettable emotional roller coaster.

    It doesn't take long to be pulled into this book. The prologue sets an eerie tone that has me immediately sympathizing with Adella. When Adella receives an email, I was instantly on guard. It was such a tough call that she had to make, and I personally was thinking "don't." While I still think she had a tough choice to make, I was happy to see how things ended. There is so much emotion packed in this story. It really tugs at your heart.

    I also love how descriptive Luther gets in this book. I felt like I could be in a Hallmark Christmas movie walking in the town of Masonfield. When an author's words can place you inside their story that is the absolute best! All of the characters were great, and I was instantly attached to Adella and Parker. This was my first read by Luther and it certainly will not be my last. She displays great talent, and I cannot wait to read more of her work.

    This book was amazing. I kept trying to guess where it would really go at the end, but was wrong every time. I feel like the author did some homework on this type of incident. Great book, highly recommend.
