Until him.

Maddox stomps back into her world as her new personal bodyguard.

Someone has been exploiting those with powers and seeks Hazel to be part of a superhuman collection.

It’s the heroes against all odds, and only love will save mankind.

Great story

Great story
4.5 stars! Another great edition to this series. This is book seven in the “Hero Society” series and can be read as a stand alone. This series has intrigued me since the first book. There is always a love story, kick butt heroines, the amazing family of heroes, a little suspense and some good ole action!! This heroine is one of my favorites. Hazel had a rough childhood. To make matters worse when she needed her best friend the most he disappeared. I know that had to be traumatizing but you see her growth. You only see her climb ahead. She grows stronger and stronger. I love this lady. Maddox was lost and the only thing he knew to do was to run or risk hurting the one person who meant everything to him. He is such a great representation of a boyfriend. Even in all his alphaness he only wants to stand beside his queen. Rarely do you see a man in a book fight to just be her rock. I love it. The story was beautiful and hopeful. I always have loved this authors writing skills and she has a way with developing characters you love. Such a great read!!

Spring is the third of 3 stand alone books that take place after the end of the Night, main series for the Hero Society. Again, each book revolves around a new couple, but there is no continuous storyline like the main series.

This book has a great theme of growth and new beginnings. Hazel & Maddox grew up on the foster program together after meeting while living on the streets. But when Maddox leaves Hazel on her 16th birthday, she is left without her best friend and protector. Years latter these two come together again when Maddox becomes Hazel’s bodyguard & has to protect her from something much worse.

I love all the themes in this book, from second chance romance, to a strong & successful self-made black woman, to the focus on being true to yourself, to ensuring we protect the world we have.

I loved this stand alone book in the Hero Society series, such a great series & definitely one to check out.

I loved Hazels hero talent. It had me giggling though the book. She is a free-form hippie and delightful!
Having been in foster care as a child where she met her best friend Maddie, she had a rough life. When he suddenly leaves, her life is torn open with grief. She channels this pain into music and finding ways to help the planet and causes that are important to her. Hazel becomes a famous musician while moonlighting with the hero society to help save the world.
When a twist of events brings Maddox back into her life, it brings a lot of feelings for her to deal with. Maddox has gone into the military and changed a lot, but in some ways not at all. I loved his alpha style. Can she forgive him for leaving her years ago? I love how they came together to overcome the Big Bad in the book.
This book had me thinking of Hazel and Maddox for days after wishing I knew more of their story.

There’s one thing you always guarantee with a jessica Florence book and that she can take you into a world that is unforgettable and this is no different for spring.

I must admit the covers attract me so much to this book that are amazing but i love how every story is so different in this series.

I loved both Maddox and hazel they are two lost souls who have loved each other forever and when Maddox leaves her behind i just wasn’t sure that Hazel would let him in again.

I love the Hero Society they are friends and family that have each others back regardless and it makes for such a great series.

I loved how Hazel was a singer as i live music and had me connecting to this book i also loved how Jessica Florence’s writing was very sensitively certain topics and think she wrote this brilliantly.

Another amazing story loved loved loved it.

This is a great continuation of a fabulous series. Hazel is such a fun character and Maddox will steal your heart. There are years and history and some hurt between these two characters. You have to read to see if they can overcome their past and things thrown at them in the present!

I’ve been a big fan of the Hero Society from the beginning and I’m always excited when a new book comes out. Spring is well worth the anticipation! Hazel is the heroine we don’t get often enough in romance books. She’s a proud, strong black woman, an advocate for women and the earth, an inspiration for her generation. It’s awesome to see her man step up and stand BESIDE her, not in front of her. Maddox is swoon worthy in his own right- so proud of his girl and loving her for who she is. I love their chemistry and connection. This book is so good!
If you’ve enjoyed the Hero Society books, you’ll love this one too. If you are new to the series, you can jump right in! This is a series of standalones. They’ve all been amazing!

Y’all KNOW I love a strong heroine. YOU KNOW IT. Lucky for me, Hazel is indeed a strong heroine. A woman standing behind women. A voice for the Earth. Someone so very in her own skin.
And then a swoonworthy hero that wants nothing more than to protect his woman? I mean honestly. This couldn’t have hit my checklist any better if it tried.

I really enjoyed Spring. It was a quick and easy read that had me coming back for more. I thought the heroine was the kind of heroine we need more of. She was fierce and someone to look up to. I just thought this book was missing an extra something that I can't quite put my finger on...
