Dillon has no idea that Scott, the security guard, is stalking him. The man is captivated by Dillon's presence to the point of obsession. He’ll stop at nothing to get close to him...
The instant I saw him, I knew he was meant for me.
In a flash, I felt like the focus of my life had taken a hundred-and-eighty-degree shift.
I couldn’t stop thinking about him. It had become an obsession for me… my descent into pure hell.
Damn!
I couldn’t be exactly sure who the monster was… him, my enemies, or maybe even myself.
My heart and mind will defy all logic, but he doesn’t know that.
I’ll do anything for Dillon. He defines my destiny, and I will fight for his survival.
Our fates are sealed.
I shall not wait any longer.
***This is a compelling but contemporary story about an emotional anti-hero. It dives into an age-gap romance with M/M elements, touching on dark themes, including stalking and mental health issues. Fortunately, it leads to a happy ending. Hope you enjoy it!***

- Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2022I thoroughly enjoyed this one! Dillon is a young man with wealthy socialite parents that want him to be a doctor but he wants to be a photographer. As it happens, he's leaving a therapist that his father knows and is confronted by a security guard named Scott. Scott is intrigued by Dillon and wants to know more about him so... He breaks into the therapist's office and reads his notes. Before long, Scott is obsessed to the point of breaking into Dillon's apartment, snooping and setting up spy cameras. They're both unsure of each other as Scott seems to randomly appear where he is at. Dillon soon learns more about his sexy security guard and his darker secret. There's plenty of drama, witty humor, thrilling and twisted moments, and steamy sex that will keep you guessing as to what will happen next. Can Dillon handle the truth or will Scott's dark secret destroy everything? Buy it and discover that for yourself! I highly recommend this one!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2020I want to stress there are triggers, this book has serious mental heath issues with a slight abuse issue that might be hard for some readers. This is a m/m book of a man and his quick obsession with a younger man who he stalks while also trying to insert himself around his obsession. It's weird because although a first I felt Scott was good for Dillon in so many ways, Dillon needed that one person like Scott to love and cherish him in a way Dillon felt no one really could or had. the book then takes a darker turn I didn't see coming, and now the tables have turned and we see that it's Dillon who's actually good for scott when s*** hits the fan and we get a really glimpse of who Scott really is. Scott had serious mental heath issues that are beyond what I think any off us seen coming, and although he hurt and scared Dillon, Dillon stood by him thought thick and thin. It was hard reading how Dillon could stay, but the truth is ppl all around the world suffer from mental illness, this is a fact, and it takes someone so strong and willing to stick and stay, and utterly still love the person who is suffering terribly. This hits on how all this happened because of chain of events were scott stopped taking him medicine because he thought it would be ok and since something great happened in his life he didn't need them anymore, he wanted to be normal for Dillon. and this is such a common pheromone with mental health patients. they get tired of having to take their medicines daily or they feel that they don't need to be medicated any longer, and that who ever they start a relationship with will look down on them for it, see them as less, yes this story hit on stuff that's hard and hits home to those who know ppl with mental illness in their life
- Reviewed in the United States on August 23, 2022This book starts off dark with the main character, who apparently has mental issues, and is basically stocking a young man. The author definitely catches your attention from the first page. You expect the book to be dark from the description about the main character being mentally disturbed. However, I wish the author would have warn the reader that this story line is full of homosexuality and gay sex. I would have not read it if I knew this.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 15, 2023What can I say but WOW! I don't know how Lily comes up with this stuff! I've been slowly making my way through each title and I was blown away by this one. Dillon is a young man who grew up in a wealthy family being forced to pursue a pathway in life he has no interest in. While Scott is older, suffers from PTSD amongst other things and works as a security guard. Scott's obsession quickly escalates into stalking. Things take a dark turn as Scott comes off his medications and at one point I can't see how Lily can turn this into a HEA - and yet she does, in a way that is not only believable but truly incredible too. 5 golden stars, this was such a tense, epic read and I can't wait to see what the author does next.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 23, 2020I honestly didn’t know which direction this book was going to go but as I was reading through it a part of me was like I wish I had someone crazy enough to stalk me and make me their most important person.
But as you read through it you realize just how sick the person is and how much help they need. It could honestly be anyone of us and just because you have a mental health issue it shouldn’t stop you from living your life.
I love this book cause it’s just so different and the aspects of talks about. In my opinion both Dillion and Scott are sick but at the same time they recognize that.
In a way it’s also a book of forgiving a person who doesn’t have complete control of themselves. I honestly don’t know how to feel about the book but I do know I loved it.
It’s honestly just so different.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2022Scott is a security guard whose attraction to a man named Dillon turns into an obsession. The inner dialogue helps to understand Scott as he begins to stalk Dillon. As the story develops there will be graphic sex scenes and explicit language in this dark M/M romance so if this is your type of read, then this is the story and the author for you.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 1, 2020Dillon has been going to see a therapist just to satisfy his parents, and he has no idea that he is being stalked by the security guard.
Scott is enraptured by Dillon, to the point of obsession. He’ll stop at nothing to get close to Dillon.
When feelings and mental illness become apparent is love enough?
This book was… wow! It’s raw, it’s angsty, it’s scary, it’s creepy, it’s awe inspiring, it’s lovely, and it has a powerful message. You will not be able to turn away. With every sentence written your left wondering where this is going but when you find out, you’re still shocked!
This is one of the best books I’ve read this year. It’s the kind of book that sticks with you for a lifetime.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love, Love, LOVED this!
I am now officially a fan of this writer’s work. I read Haunting Adile, which, although very different, is equally compelling, so I thought I would try this book. And I am thrilled I did. LOVED IT!
I thoroughly enjoyed the well-crafted and unconventional love story of a bear of a man with mental illness, Scott, who becomes obsessed with the elf-like young, sullen Dillon, who suffers from mental health issues of his own. Parents forced the latter to attend therapy and study to be a veterinarian when all the boy wanted was to be a photographer.
I could say much more, but I don’t want to give the plot away. I will, therefore, leave you with this. If you are a fan of the Netflix series “You” and the movie “The Collector” and enjoy spicy male-on-male sex scenes, then you will love this book as much as I did.
I’ll be back for more from this writer.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a read!
Dillon Cruise attended his weekly therapy appointment for anger management. He was being monitored not only by the Doctor but by an admirer, who knew everything there was to know after secretly reviewing his medical notes. Scott was infactuated with Dillon, stalking him, unlawfully entering his apartment, fantasising, borderline psychotic.
I've read a few of Lily's books but this is my favourite todate. This book has everything, a obsessional romance, powerful eroticism, mental instability, auditory hallucinations and all with just 2 main characters. This story builds at a fast pace and takes you on a roller-coaster ride through many different emotions felt by both Scott and Dillon. The author displays a vast knowledge of mental health problems and there is a great underlying message with regard to the affects of immediate medication withdrawal. A fantastic storyline that delves into a stormy relationship but love conquers all. Great book, well written, strongly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars the darker side of infatuation
Precious isn’t a book I would usually read but I found the characters intriguing. The story is basically a love story. It explores the darker side of infatuation and obsessive behaviour. It was well written, if a little repetitive in parts. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys gay romance.

5.0 out of 5 stars Twists and Turns
Precious contains scenes that have loads of attitude especially with the character names "Dillon". The plot is entertaining never a dull moment and easy to follow, I enjoyed it.
