While visiting the Yorkshire Dales, Elizabeth Moray decides to explore the historic home of Lord Radley Fairbank. She ignores a sign prohibiting entry, but her curiosity turns to shock when she steps through a door within the abandoned estate and is transported back to the Victorian era.

It quickly becomes apparent that in this version of the past, she is the governess for Lord Radley's two young nephews. Seeing no obvious way back home, she decides to make the best of things, but she soon discovers that her employer believes in strict discipline for his staff.

    A short decent read this book was fun sexy but had a lot of things that were left unmentioned after the first time Like why didn't heroine go back to her own time and seeing as she time travelled there?

    But it is a quick read with a lot of heat and the intimate scenes pack a lot of punch.

    This was an interesting story with an unknown and inexplicable time travel situation. Liz was thrown back in time but isn’t sure how it happened or how to get back to modern time. She’s thrown back into the Victorian era where there are Lords, servants, and governesses. She quickly adapts to her new surroundings and her new Lord. Their relationship evolves quickly into more than just employer and employee.

    The BDSM element is hot but not over the top which would be good for someone who is just now venturing into BDSM or just wants a lighter reader of a heavy subject. Overall it is a good story with a sweet, romantic love and a happy ending. Good for a quick steamy read that will leave you smiling at the end.

    Lily Harlem brings us a fun, hanky, spanky story set in Victorian England which is full of heart and loaded with sexiness.

    This story starts with Liz visiting the English countryside and going where she shouldn't only to find herself thrown back into Victorian England as a governess to two young boys in the household of Lord Fairbank.

    I loved Liz. She is slightly kinky, not afraid to own her sexuality but also loving and caring. She also has a rather adventurous side to her since she manages to take the time travel all in stride and settles into a new life as governess. I loved too that she brought a sense of fun and laughter to an otherwise strict but caring household.

    Lord Fairbank or Radley as he's known is a strict disciplinarian with rather kinky tastes for his time. He's never been able to find someone who accepted him entirely for who he is and is compatible with him, so he's always been rather aloof and lonely, even when he's a caring and generous employer and lord of the manor. I loved that Radley couldn't keep his spanky hands to himself where Liz is concerned and he found her irresistible.

    While you'd think this story is filled with sexy, hanky spanky stuff (it is!), it's not just that. It's also filled with a lot of wonderful and endearing moments as Liz cares for and teaches the two young boys about maths, life and tadpoles. I also loved the moments when Radley unbent enough to show the boys a warmer, more caring side of himself, with the four of them bonding towards becoming a family. The boys were a wonderful touch to the story. Who can resist two cute 6 year old twin boys? And one of them has a teddy bear called Tiggy. So stinkin' adorable!

    All in all, it was a quick, fun and sexy read.

    3.5 stars rounded up to 4 as the story is well written and well edited and it is good (just no my cup of tea).

    I liked the story but didn't love it. My major problem is the female being the aggressor in this story and it is a personal problem (mark it up to my very old fashioned upbringing). The story is good and Liz does her a good job of trying to help the boys adjust to their new circumstances. Radley is a stereotypical lord that leaves the children in the care of their nanny but Liz is a force to be reckoned with and slowly but surely helps Radley and his nephews develop a relationship. Overall it is a good story and worth reading.

    I received a copy from Stormy Night Publications and I voluntarily reviewed this book.

    Oh I do love a good time travel romance and this one did not disappoint. I’m not a huge fan of the spanking kink but it was handled quite tastefully. The characters were well written and easy to love. I adored the twins and even the staff were all lovely even the crotchety nanny.

    The description of the countryside and buildings made me feel like I was right there enjoying it. So well done

    What a fun read...I have never read any of time traveling books before and so this was a nice surprise...love the way the author sticks to her modern ways, as in the present, but then so easily flits to a hundred and fifty years earlier. The chemistry between the principal characters are so well put together. An enjoyable book.

    I am not a huge fan of time travel romances, especially if the time shift is not explained. This story could have been an excellent story if the Governess had just been a nice person from his own time. Or strangely is the Lord of the manor was an actual reclusive descendent of the original... Or if he was a Vampire... Or Well there are so many options. In this whole story I kept wondering when she was going back in time...or when the time travel would be explained... Aside from that the story is very interesting with the twins who need fun and love, their uncle who obviously is a kinky master in a very reserved time, and the governess who likes to play by her own rules and accept the consequences after. I felt it left too many unanswered questions because of the time travel thing.
