    To be honest, I really enjoyed reading this book. Albeit, there are some areas of the book that had me feeling a bit ambivalent. However, I didn't allow it to stop me from reading the rest of the story, which I am a thankful for, because the story really got more interesting and enthralling the more you read.

    The moment Marshall open his door and saw her standing there, his entire body went haywire and his heart on an unstoppable race. Emmy is sitting in for Marshall's regular dog sitter for the week, and he had to meet her just to ensure that his dog Buddha, and her get along. But he was not prepared for the explosion of feelings he is having for her, worst, she is so young. Then only to return early from his business trip to find the best gift ever all wrapped up in his sheets.

    Emmy just turned eighteen and is all alone in the world, but possesses this affinity for animals which have her dreaming of one day becoming a veterinarian. But for now, being short on funds, she is working as a sitter and temporarily filling in for a co-worker for a week. This client has a dog that does not like anyone, but her office thought that she would be more suited to fill in. When she showed up at the client's door, the man standing in front of her, as her body singing a different tune, just from his presence and the most amazing scent coming from him (ooohlala her undies are done for....soaking wet). Now she is all alone in his home looking after Buddha and all she can think about is Marshall. But deep down she knows, she is not his usual date and that there is no way he would consider dating her....but a girl can dream. Totally exhausted, she decided to spend the night at Marshall's house in his bed, with the intention to get up in time to straightened up the place, and have it looking as it should.... might turn out to be the best idea ever, or her worst nightmare.

    But then again, there might be someone out there obsessing over Emmy. Will Marshall be able to protect her?

    Marshall is a billionaire who has a dog sitter come to his house to look after his bulldog a few times a week. When his usual sitter is unavailable he asks the company to send their next best person. When he opens his front door and finds Emmy standing there he becomes instantly obsessed. After first losing her parents at such a young age and then her grandparents more recently, Emmy is hoping to save enough money to go to vet school. Upon meeting Marshall, she experiences lust at first sight. Getting caught in his bed wasn't part of the plan but now that he has her where he wants her he's going to do everything he can to hold on.

    This was a good book, wasn't great, I thought there were way too many smex scenes. I know I'll probably be the only one, but the amount of intimate scenes really overpowered the rest of the story. I also wasn't a fan of Emmy's naivete with her boss and him wanting her. I love how authors play on the jealousy of the H's, however, not when they h comes off as really dense in certain situations but, I understand why it had to be in the story. I always enjoy Ms. Wyatt's writing and I look forward to her next book. *** i received an ARC in exchange for a honest review***

When he gets distracted she takes off but nothing can stop Marshall from getting his woman back under his roof for the claiming.

    This is a short quick instalove age-gap read with an OTT alpha possessive male with a dirty mouth and girl who loves it . Emmy is sweet and independent with big dreams but they just got bigger with Marshall added to them. Its definitely a hot read and it kept my attention. There were a few parts I just felt disconnected from . Also if you enjoy a little DD/LG action you will like this read. There was some drama but it kept it interesting. Throw in a cute fur baby and an HEA and epilogue you got a good read. Dani Wyatt's books are becoming addictive to me so I can't wait to read more.

    It's hard to pinpoint who is my favourite character - Marshall, the billionaire who thought he had it all, only to discover that he was missing a quintessential, need it to continue breathing, obsessively must-have part in his life. Or, the tiny fairy-like, gorgeous red-head character Emma, who you love instantly because she has been ostracized by her peers' cause of said red hair, was devoted to her grandparents and even though Emma is attracted to Marshall, falls harder for his dog. Or finally, the bulldog Buhhda, who is a rescue, doesn't like to go for walks unless it's to his food bowl, typically tries to bites the ankles of everyone he meets, but in an instant becomes a superhero. I loved watching how, Marshall, who continually has a "tight seal" on his control, loses his balance, his calm, is concentration all because he realizes he has met his "fated" mate and had to go to work; and at the same time, I enjoyed seeing Emma come out of her shell (many times actually ☺️) and discover her "sex-kitten"! This story has no problem holding your attention with its humour, twists and turns, Buhhda, the erotic scenes and the strong love that develops between Marshall and Emma. I wouldn't bother with "kindle unlimited" just purchase the story as you will be reading it more than twice - for sure!

    I think the book started off really good but to me as soon as they got together all they seem to do was have sex the story line seemed to stop other than the one incident that happens with Carver nothing really happens. I loved how obsessed and alpha Marshall was with Emmy and I loved Buddha I think he stole the show. I would have liked for Emmy to put up a little bit of a fight instead of just doing exactly what she's told whenever Marshall opened his mouth maybe she needed to take aleaf out of Buddha's book because he never paid any attention to Marshall.
