Beth Laycock’s books are influenced by her time living overseas as well as the gritty, urban landscape of the north of England where she grew up. She has been reading romance since she was old enough to tell herself that line every book lover does—just one more chapter.

As a teenager, she attempted to write her first novel, and many more since then are still gathering dust on her bookshelf. It wasn’t until she discovered the M/M genre that her muse showed up and refused to quit telling her stories about beautiful men finding love together. She hasn’t stopped scribbling them down since. Beth’s muse usually shows up when she is in the shower, is allergic to cleaning, rarely lets her watch TV, and insists she drinks copious amounts of coffee so she can turn caffeine into words.

Beth’s books range from sweet to sexy, long to short, contemporary to paranormal, but a HEA is always guaranteed.

    I snagged this gem when she was having a Christmas in July sale and I'm so happy that she did :) I love holiday stories and both of these were wonderfully light-hearted with a guaranteed HEA.

    Miracles on Three King's Day - Levi is on a short holiday in Spain after witnessing a horrible tragedy and his brother invites him to join him abroad to take some time off. He ends up in Alejandro's cafe after his brother gets stuck in Scotland. Alejandro is a friend of Levi's brother and both end up crushing on the other. It's a wonderful holiday romance in Spain and who doesn't love that?

    Thrown by Love - Charlie, a recent divorce, decides to take a ceramic class to make his Secret Santa present and signs up for a class with his coworker. Then he meets Josh the instructor who is younger than him and Charlie fights his attraction. I love Charlie and Josh because their rapport and interactions are so sweet and Charlie is just so nervous.

    A pair of cute stories of wounded men finding their love. Miracle on Three Kings' Day, with local Alex and visitor Levi bond at the Spanish seashore. In Thrown by Love, Laycock moves the scene to a suburb of London where native Charlie meets potter Josh in the month before Christmas. Simple plots of caution, discovery and communication blend around two very visual towns.

    Quaint read.
