Hollywood on Tap (Sweet Salvation Brewery) Kindle Edition

4.2 out of 5 stars 522 ratings

The one person standing between me and organizational heaven at the small town brewery I inherited with my sisters is brewmaster Sean O’Dell. Can you believe the pig-headed and too-hot-for-his-own-good man shoots down every change I want to make? Especially when I have the color-coded spreadsheets and charts to prove that a little something different is exactly what’s needed.

And he thinks that his strong but silent act is going to make me back down? He couldn’t be more wrong.

The man is hiding something behind all his sexy scruff and I’m going to find out exactly what it is. What I’m not going to do though is give in to the white-hot attraction between us making me want to undo a few of my buttoned-up sweaters and finally figure find out what would happen if I finally let loose.

A Stand Alone Sassy Romance.

Sweet Jesus what a ride!!! No Spoilers Here!!!
This installment of Salvation Brewery is just as awesome as the first. The character are complex and human. I can Identify with the Heroine in many ways, from her flowcharts to he color pens. The Hero is just the guy next door, or at least that's all he wants to be. I love the aspect that they are just regular people, not millionaires. It makes it easier for the reader to get encompassed in the story and fell like you really know them. It is rare to be able to read a story that seems so real. Thank you Avery for another great read!!!

Another fun trip to the Sweet Salvation Brewery! This is the second book in this series and it is just as fresh and delightful as the first book, Enemies on Tap. This book features mysterious Brewmaster Sean O'Dell who is smart, handsome, and impulsive along with new brewery owner Natalie Sweet. Natalie is an efficiency expert so she is consumed with order, spreadsheets, and charts bordering on obsessive compulsive but still funny, clever and has that hot librarian look that drives Sean crazy! They are opposites and have different agendas but their hot chemistry makes this a fun and bumpy ride! The problems that plague the brewery are far from over which add mystery and a good pace to this story. I love how developed these characters are and how their relationship evolves especially when Sean's mysterious past threatens his new life. I really enjoyed how the humour mixed with mystery, romance and great characters make this a charming and sexy read! I look forward to more from the Sweet Salvation Brewery and from Avery Flynn.

I loved this book, even though a few times somewhere in the middle of the story.... it became a little boring. But after that, the story took off at a quick pace and had me glued to my seat. This book has a little mystery, a little comedy, a few secrets, a little sex and a whole lot of romance. Natalie is prim, proper and organized to the point of being obsessive-compulsive. Sean is impulsive, chaotic and the complete opposite. Plus he's sitting on a huge secret that has the possiblity to blow, their slow building romance, all to pieces! These two are so different that the relationship between the two really shouldn't work, but somehow they do.

It has taken me a while to write this review as I didn’t now how to express my thoughts on it. Yes, I liked it but I didn’t love it. The characters Natalie and Sean, are likeable but I didn’t feel very much emotion between them. They are very attracted to each other, that was obvious, yet there wasn’t enough sexual tension to allow me to feel how powerful their attraction was.

Natalie is a super organised person, so much so she makes a living from it. She’s very independent, which she has valid reasons for, and is not the typical “Sweet” that the town assumes of this family. I wouldn’t say she’s particularly strong emotionally, but she does have self-confidence in the things she knows she’s good at. Sean, he comes across as a grumpy, unwilling to change brewmaster, who’s desperately hiding from his past. I didn’t think he was particularly swoon-worthy and I would expect a “Hollywood heart-throb” ex or current, to be exactly that, which was a little disappointing.

The story moves at a good pace and I liked the writing style, but it just didn’t hit the mark for me in comparison to the first book in this series – Enemies on Tap.

    3 stars!

Belly up to the bar for another tasty winner from Avery Flynn with Hollywood on Tap. This is book two in the Sweet Salvation Brewery series.

I will always pick up and Avery Flynn book no matter what, I love this authors writing. She writes with sass, snark, and spice, gives us burn the pages chemistry, throws in a dash of intrigue and always, always has me grinning like a fool at the end of the book. This book is no exception.

With this instalment of the Sweet Salvation Brewery series, we get the middle triplet Natalie and brew master Sean’s story. Talk about opposites attracting. These two are hot together.

Add in there is someone sabotaging the brewery at every turn, a sheriff’s department who is not exactly rushing to investigate due to the brewery being owed by Sweets and a looming brewer’s contest that could put Sweet Salvation on the map and you get a taste of what is in store with this story.

Sean and Natalie can barely keep their hands off each other as it is and as they grow closer while trying to work out who the saboteur is things get hotter and hotter. When a meeting in the planning room turns into something more and they realise that there is more than attraction going on

“Oh God. Do you wear these every day?” He traced the top of her thigh–high tights, his calloused thumb occasionally straying off the material to caress her bare thigh. “You don’t want to know the answer to that.”

But when Sean’s past comes calling and Natalie finds out who he really is, he has to make a decision. Stay or go? What would have been an easy decision a few weeks ago is no longer one. Stay and fight for Natalie or keep running? Oh and who is sabotaging the brewery?

Grab a comfy spot to read this book, because once you start you won’t want to put it down. This again proves why Avery Flynn is a favourite author of mine.

"Hollywood on Tap" was as great book to unwind with. Just a bit of feel good fiction to relieve stress. I enjoyed the town of Salvation - all the quirkiness and southern gossip. I have to say, I think I like Natalie and Sean better than Miranda and Logan. I loved Natalie's perfectly imperfect character. She is so much like many of Ms. Flynn's readers. I love how Sean's character developed throughout the story - quiet and confident yet insecure and flustered. I'm wondering were the elusive Olivia is and how she will be come book #3.

Opposites attract in this short, sweet and very entertaining read. Natalie is an overly anxious organiser and Sean is a fly by the seat of his pants creator of beer. The story has lovely characters and intrigue involving Sean’s past and the accidents happening at the brewery.
