    Ok just wow!. I just finished this and I cannot say how fantastic this book was. I am eagerly waiting on book 2 and hopefully will have it in my hot little hands as soon as possible. I'm not sure if any of you realize this but this is a collaboration of Sam Burns and W.M. Fawkes under a new pen name. It is definitely different from what people would expect from either of them but I will say if you're looking for some good heat Factor it is right up there.
    There are no shifters involved in this book but plenty of heat to keep the pages steaming. Check this out you will not be disappointed if you like heat in your books.

    How sweet this one is with the by-now-standard M/M trope of smallish preppy vs famous gorgeous hunk.

    In this case the preppy Andrew Gellman is crushed because he caught his fiancee in bed with his best friend (a too-many-already trope) while the hunk is the resort's soft rock star known to Andrew as Joe Jones when they meet--and Andrew has no clue he's really world famous star Cord Fabien (on the cover).

    This is the first book in a series that takes place at Bliss, a new LGBTQ friendly resort off the Florida Keys which is full of delightful characters and chock-a-bloc with light angst and heavy M/M interaction.

    I know I'm supposed to outline the plot and give all sorts of what-I-like and what-I-don't like in these reviews, but in this case I will simply state: I had a wonderful time, immediately got the next in the series, and am now addicted because author Harley Grace made me feel good.

    The love that grew from the pain both men were dealing with was beautiful. The imagery of the island resort sounds breathtaking. And the communication between the MC's was fantastic. I hate misunderstandings or running away and causing unnecessary drama. This was a sweet meet and fall in love and I can't wait for the next book on Bliss

    Two men just out of long-term relationships lock eyes across the bar. Sounds like the beginning of a sappy romance movie but this author has taken that storyline and made it into one that makes your heart melt. Cord and Andrew are so good together and even though each comes with baggage and a dented heart, together they not only heal each other but open themselves up to a once in a lifetime kind of love. The first in a new series about the Boys of Bliss, this book has the ability to make you believe in happily ever after. I cannot wait to see how the rest of the Boys of Bliss get their chance at happiness.

    Unfortunately, I struggled to like this one. It was going fine until Andrew was making excuses for why his best friend slept with his fiance. Then, he so quickly forgave him and allowed him back into his life because Ian said "well, it just happended, and there was wine..". Seriously? Andrew came off like such a pushover.

    That shifted the way I viewed Andrew.

    I don't know, I just couldn't get past that.

    I admit that when I read the blurb for this book, I want sure if I'd read it before because the premise is pretty common. Fortunately, it's a cute premise that I enjoy so I downloaded it anyway. Turns out, it's new to me! & just unique enough stand out from the rest of the 'finding-love-on-a-solo-honeymoon', 'falling-in-love-before-you-know-they're- famous', 'falling-in-love-on-a-tropical-vacation', 'finding-love-on-the-rebound' stories.
    I'm already downloading the next in the series.
    The authors create enough realism in the fantasy of meeting someone famous at a tropical resort who's totally into you that I was genuinely pulled into the story & the characters. Can't wait to see what's next!

    I love how this book just jumped right into the honey-NOT-moon. On top of that, I fully appreciated not having to wait long for the story’s couple to consummate said honey-NOT-moon. If you’re thinking it was the groom and groom, you’d be wrong. Poor Andrew caught his fiancé with his pants down...with a friend of his. Ouch. Andrew is a self-proclaimed workaholic, but no one deserves that.

    He decided to go on the ‘honeymoon’ anyways, since he planned it. Cue ‘Joe Jones’ playing a guitar, and singing, at one of the resort’s bars. Meet cute ensues. Joe is as captivated by Andrew’s adorableness as I was. How adorable was it that, when ‘Joe’ admits to being Cord, Andrew has no idea who he is. How refreshing for Cord, I’m sure. Rock stars are constantly hounded for who they appear to be, and not who they are as a person.

    This was a sweet, funny, and captivating story. I loved the characters and the storyline. It’s nice to take a break from the angst, and just enjoy a good love story. The side characters were definitely part of the fun...minus Thom. Yuck. Go away, Thom. You had your chance, and you blew it!

    This was the first book I’ve read by Harley Grace. I think it may be her first book, but it’s the beginning of a series, thank goodness. I need to read more by this author. By the looks of her Amazon page, we’re gonna get the second book in this series shortly. I can’t wait to read it!

    Sometimes a book is so sweet and nice that after you read it, everything feels just lighter and happier as a reflection of the heartwarming moments that filled the book. The story of Andrew and Cord is like that, an easy to read, in spite of some angst, love story, full of romance and hot scenes, all happening in a paradisiac resort. Wonderful reading!
