The Foundling With The Flowers Kindle Edition

4.4 out of 5 stars 920 ratings

Can love survive in a vicious web of outrageous lies?

Growing up as an unloved and loathed foundling, Emma's love of flowers is what kept her going. So when she is apprenticed to a flower maker, it looks like a dream come true for her.

But the dream quickly turns into a nightmare, as her new masters exploit her talents mercilessly for their own petty gains.

And a silly made-up story about her origins only adds to her hardship. Could the foundling with the flowers truly be the illegitimate daughter of a lovestruck earl and a grieving baroness?

Things seriously get out of hand however, once the rich socialite Julian Cox takes an interest in Emma.

His meddling propels her to become an absolute sensation in London's high society!

Who is truthful though, and who is only out to play games with the poor flower foundling?

Expensive clothes and pretty facades can hide the cruelest of creatures, as Emma soon discovers.

While Julian spins his web of lies, intrigue and deceit, young Ollie Goodwin is Emma's rock and best friend.

She knows she should listen to his advice, but she's too afraid to tell the truth. How long can she continue to play other people's dirty games?

How long before the sham turns into a tragedy? And when the truth is revealed, will anyone but Emma pay the price?

The Foundling With The Flowers is Hope Dawson's fifth Victorian romance saga. And like all of her novels, it's FREE with Kindle Unlimited.

Hope Dawson adores historical romance stories, and she loves the Victorian era. So you could say it was written in the stars for her to create Victorian romance sagas.

Why the Victorians?

Because they're so much like us! People in Victorian Britain lived in a time and a place that was changing rapidly, due to major technological advances.

Just like now.

Their world was turned upside down, and they sometimes struggled to make sense of it all.

Just like we do.

Fortunes were made, and lost. Hearts were broken, and mended.

Just like today.

And throughout it all, brave girls and women stayed strong - and kept believing in a better future.

Hope Dawson's sagas are a tribute to the power of love and the strength of the human spirit in the face of adversity.
