    It was just what you would expect it to be from Ford. Did I like that Ice had a topless stripper giving him a lap dance the first chapter? No. Did Ford do her best to not make it a big deal? Yes. I usually avoid MC books because there’s so much smex/fooling around/sometimes cheating with people other than the MCs together. That stuffs just not for me. But I like most of Ford’s books so I gave it a try. Luckily it was kept to a minimum.

    I loved this storyline and the flow. Addison and Ice (James) have the hottest chemistry. She can't believe that someone as hot as Ice is telling her the truth. They spend a wild night together and Addison figures that she'll leave him before he leaves her. Ice finally breaks through Addi's self hatred of her body. Addison is on the way to Ice's house to tell him that she loves him when she's run off the road by two dirty cops, Officer Johns and Officer Greene destroy her car and Officer Johns tries to rape her. There is danger, violence, drama, humor, and plenty of steam. The Men of Valor are much more than just an MC club. They are a godsend. Hope Ford writes a remarkable romance MC story. Ice felt so bad for what happened to Addi that you can feel the pain in her writing. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    One look at Addison and Ice is gobsmacked by instalove and he immediately helps her out of the pickle she’s in. Ice does all he can to prove to Addison, he’s the real deal and he’s really in love. Addison has trouble believing someone like Ice truly wants her for her. Just as she begins to believe him, will the incident that brought them together in the first place be the thing that permanently tears them apart?

    This is the second peak inside the Men of Valor MC. Ice doesn’t disappoint in the OTT Alpha department...he’s downright bossy, lol. Addison, though she has insecurities, holds her own and won’t let Ice hurt her, if he’s only in this for some quick fun.

    This book has a bit of everything including instalove, steam, sweet, a bit of intrigue and it definitely leaves you wanting more. Great read and I’m looking forward to Book 3.

    This was a short story, with a MC background and instalove. I was on the fence where to rate this. The story was decent enough, and I like short stories. The instalove was a little much though , I can see wanting to be with someone and thinking forever. The "I love you" happened way to fast for me. There was also a scene with him getting a topless lap dance and the h sees him. So overall enjoyable read, with likeable characters. Just could have been a little better, couple of dislikes.

    Addison is a young kindergarten teacher who up until recently loved her life but after she was approached by two dirty cops who seem to have made it their mission to pull her over for anything they can, and it has only got worse since she rebuffed their advances. But this night she has had enough after being pulled over yet again she discovers that her wallet is missing, this needs to stop and that is how she finds herself entering the local strip club ready to confront the men. With a glance around the premises she spots some bikers actively enjoying the strippers especially when one of them catches her eye but with the woman grinding on his lap she can tell that she would never be his type. So when she confronts the cops she is shocked to discover that he has her back. What could this man want with her, she is nothing like the woman he was just with or is probably used to, can Addison put her body image behind her and believe that this man could be her everything or will she walk away before he can leaving her with a broken heart?

    Ice had long ago given up hope of finding a woman to love, at forty five he thinks that those days are well and truly behind him, he is happy with the life he has created for himself, a successful businessman and being a member of the Men Of Valor MC, spending time with his brothers at the local strip club when he spots Addison. One look and he realises that she is what he has been waiting for but when he comes to her aide with the two dirty cops and she looks at him with a sneer he realises that his first impression on her was less than stellar. He knows that he will have to prove himself but will she let him into her life and give them a try or has he already missed his chance?

    Really enjoyed this book and it was a lot darker than any of Ms Ford’s previous books in my opinion and there is a scene that may be a trigger for some people. But I would say give this book a go, there was heat and chemistry enough to warm you up on a dark night. Chemistry between the two main characters was awesome and I al looking forward to reading more in this series. 4* Read.
