    This is the first book in this series. Royce is former FBI and now owns a security company with his brothers. He has always wanted Lauren but considered her off limits for a few reasons. Now that she is in danger all bets are off. Lauren has a stalker. Royce is going to figure out who it is and protect Lauren. He isn’t going to waste this chance to show her how great them they could be together. Lauren’s father is in politics. She knows he wants her to be as well. She has other dreams. Lauren has her suspicions that something is being planned for her by her father but she wants nothing to do with it. Royce is stuck between a rock and hard place about how he gets his chance with Lauren. He won’t be sorry he took the chance but he is sorry about having to keep secrets from her. Will she understand? There are lots of twists and turns in this book. I enjoyed this book a lot. I look forward to the other books in this series. The characters are great and I love the world building in this book.     Well let me introduce you to the men of Walker Security. First on the menu for your enjoyment. Royce Walker , the oldest brother. A former FBI agent and is in love with the prim and proper assistant district attorney Lauren. He is hired to keep her safe from a stalker. As Royce and Lauren come together what she thought was going to be a night of passion. Turns out to be more, as they grow closer and closer. The threats get worse and worse . Will they survive the threats and will they realize that they belong together before it is too late . You will just have to read to find out

    Lisa has done it again, I loved this book. It has love, mystery. An alpha male that is sooooooo dam hot , his looks alone will melt your panties off. Royce is I think every woman's idea of an alpha male. He is a no hold bars kind of guy that will do anything to protect those that he loves. If he loves you, he will do just about anything to keep you and protect you. Lauren's character is tough on the outside but very insecure on the inside. You kind a want to wrap her up in bubble wrap and not let her do anything at the beginning of the book. As the book goes along she gets stronger and with Royce at her side she can do almost anything. Then there is the creepy step brother and mother. They so well written, you actually get the creeps reading their characters. Which to me is a sign of a good writer. The way that Lisa writes about Lauren's dysfunctional family and the love between the Walker family is so realistic. You can just feel the tension whenever Lauren has to visit her family. You also feel the love and warmth of walking into the apartments of the Walker brothers. They all may have their own demons but they love and respect each other so much .

    Be ready for a fast paced, action packed read. The boys will have you hooked from the very first page. The mystery and action will keep you on the edge of your seat, turning page after page. There is sex in the book but it is kept to a minimum but the sex is still hot , I mean really hot. The twists and turns will keep you guessing until the end. I read way into to the night and when I was finished,I knew I wanted more of these boys. I want to find out if they all get their happily ever after .

    So if you want a good read for the beach, the pool or just even a great sunday morning read. Check out the Boys of Walker Security and the women who love them

    Very hot, intense book. I loved it! This book started out with sexual tension, and carried it all the way through the book.

    We start with an ADA Lauren Reynolds who is trying a death penalty case. Royce Walker one of the owners and operators of Walker Security walks into her life and falls in love, except he has a secret as to why he was there in the first place so he really isn't supposed to fall in love with her.

    Put a no nonsense ADA whose father is a US Senator in a room with an Ex-FBI agent turned private security, and sparks fly. Put said ADA in danger from someone that wants her dead or at least off the case she is working on and all protective instincts in the ex-FBI comes out. The fact that he was in her life to begin with because her father was getting threatening letters would shatter her trust, so he has a secret that he can't tell her if he wants to keep her safe.

    You have a slimy half-brother that thinks they should get involved for her father's presidential run, a equally slimy ex-fiancé that wants her back so he can have control of her father's law firm, a defense attorney that thinks she ruined his life by getting a conviction in a death penalty case, and the special forces trained brother of the woman she is trying in a death penalty case right now and you have a cast of potential bad guys that keeps Royce and his brothers guessing as they try to keep her alive.

    Which bad guy do you think it is? Do you think that once the truth comes out Lauren and Royce will have a chance? Can the Walker brothers, Royce in particular, keep her safe from this mad man? Where does her political father fit into this? His ambitious, devious trophy wife? If you like a light mystery with lots of a heavy love story back dropping it, you will love this book. The cast of characters in this book was entertaining and fun to read about. I enjoyed it very much. A four star rating.

    If you read a lot you may be like me and find it a bit plain a short while in to the story. I pushed through based on the fact that I have read one other book by this author that I labelled my 'book of the year'. The story did improve somewhat and I was happy to read the rest. In parts I did not completely connect with the story, however it was reasonably well written. Would I recommend it to a friend? Not really... But I did finish it and would consider more from this author.

Eine Frau in Not, einen Helden zur Stelle, eine beste Freundin mit Witz und Scharm und eine Gefahr die das Glück zu zerstören versucht.
    Ich hatte zeitweise das Gefühl, dass die Story zu schnell voran getrieben wird und mir einfach mehr Details gefehlt haben. Gerade in der Beziehung mit Laurens Vater. Stoff für die Fortsetzung der Serie wurde ja schon angedeutet und ist auch schon veröffentlicht. Steht aber nicht gerade unbedingt auf meiner To Do Liste in der nächsten Zeit.

    Also zusammengefasst, wenn man einen schnellen Zeitvertreib braucht, dann findet man diesen, aber für einen anspruchsvollen Leser wird es nicht ausreichen.

A page-turning hot thriller romance with incredibly strong characters - each one providing an intense reaction from revolution to OMG he's smokin! The sex scenes were carefully constructed to heighten the story - which is certainly did - made my heart beat a little bit quicker. It's a refreshing story ventured around DA Lauren & her trial for death penalty. There are surprises after surprises that won't leaving wanting for anything more! Great book!!!!
