    Hunting party is a short novella and such a tease. I already want way more Patrick and Ryan. I think this is supposed to be a series about the same couple and if that’s true I’m really looking forward to it. In this short, Ryan is at a party for his sister and ends up catching the attention of Patrick. The rest of the story is some steamy goodness and I need more of it. These guys have some insane chemistry. And I am really looking forward to learning more about the characters. I really enjoy the way that Robin writes and I’m always up for reading their books!

    Anything Robin Moray writes is worth spending time (and money) on. As soon as I found out her new book was out my finger clicked ‘buy’. At first, I just wanted to look (it was 3 am, after all..😅) but after that first page sucked me in, I was a goner. I loved reading about alpha heroes, ones who’re possessive and hot. As the blurb suggested, Ryan and Patrick met at a party for humans and shifters. Ryan was there to accompany his sister and he inevitably caught the eye of Patrick, one of the top alphas in the room. How they came together was scorchingly delicious. This short novella was teeming with steamy goodness! Can’t wait for the next episode!

    I don’t know why I’ve sat on this book for so long, but lordy was it a HOT read. A unique, interesting take on a world where shifters and humans co-exist, but the shifters seem to be at the top of the food chain with money, opportunities, etc. Ryan’s twin sister is looking for a shifter patron to help her work as a geneticist take off, and he offers to join her at a ball where people (mostly shifters, few humans) look to make those kind of connections. Ryan catches the eye of a whale and while “connections” are made, they aren’t necessarily of the business sort. I NEED MORE. More of this series, more of Ms. Moray, just more!

    Our MC: A blue-collar "beautiful" Ryan who's just looking out for his twin sister
    The other MC: A shifter alpha wolf, Patrick -- with cut glass cheeks and oodles of money (and likely power)
    Meet cute (or rather chance met) at the hunting party.

    Robin can really ratchet up passion and desire. There's tension, a sense of danger, and generous dose of lust at first sight. It's perfect for the opening act (and only as long as a chapter in length) but yes, I want more. I want to find out what's next and I'm already invested in Ryan and Patrick is certainly a mystery.

    Gahhh, the wait for the next installment already feels too long. :D

    This was only the beginning of course and it was a very quick read, there’s a little bit of world building, the sizzling attraction between Ryan & Patrick, and ended with a very hot scene as I’ve come to appreciate from Ms Moray.

    Can’t wait to read the next one in the series.

    I didn't know only the first part in the series had been published..... I really, really, really want to read the next in this series. The book doesn't end in a cliffhanger, but the story isn't quite finished yet either, so if you don't mind that, I'd suggest buying and reading the book straight away. If you prefer reading a series when they're finished (like I do)? I still suggest buying and reading the book right away!! Let's just hope we don't have to wait too long until the next one!!!
