    Loved this book...it was definitely raw and angst filled and freaking loved it!! I think Amalie was a very understated person in the beginning and then BAM she turned out to be someone whom finally takes control of her life and WOW what a moment. And who clean love a sexy AF alpha biker well let Mme tell you I freaking love them and Malakai is that and then some.
    The storyline for this avid reader thought it flowed, hot sex, angst and great set of characters. That's what I love about a SERIES because it's a continuous of said characters and their circumstances. In a Series it's not all solved in one book it takes a few to get the bad guys and the whole picture. The only problem with a series is the wait for the next book which BTW is the bummer. Can't wait to see what Charlie and Kodas book brings to the story.

    This is the second book in Bella Jewel's Iron Fury MC series and I enjoyed it just as much as the first. Yes, it's something of a continuation of the first book but the story is just different enough to keep most readers engaged. I would suggest that you read Whiskey Burning before reading Hushed Torment, but it is not absolutely needed. I'm looking forward to reading Koda and Charlie's story soon. I think it's going to be VERY interesting!

    Oh my god. Malakai and Amalie are possible my favorite couple so far. Their personalities balance each other out so wonderfully, I kinda want to reread it all over again.

    Bella balanced out Amalie’s kindheartedness with a backbone without making her seem weak or all of a sudden a badass. It’s so hard to find that kind of character development. I think one of my favorite things about Amalie is (SPOILER ALERT) when she seen Mal with another girl in his office and DIDNT BACK DOWN or RUN AWAY. She stepped up and took control, most female leads don’t do that. She grew to take control of her life, which I love.

    And Malakai, though I was disappointed when he was the one to run away when it got a little complicated, I actually liked it a lot. He’s out of control with his emotions when it comes to Amalie and I love it. I wish there was more bonding scenes with them just so I could fall more in love with them but I’m just being selfish lol.

    Wonderful job with great writing. Amalie is possibly my favorite female lead!

    There are some really good parts to this book. Malakai is a fiercely protective man, the president of his MC. He is violent, but shows his soft side to Amalie. He has some pretty low moments that some may struggle with. He’s a hard man to love, but she’s perfect for him.

    The first part of the book was frustrating because Amalie took on too much blame. The last part was good when she found her strength. That I liked.

    It’s not a cliffhanger per se because Malakai and Amalie find their HFN, but there’s more to the story, which I’m invested enough to read on.

    I’ve never been disappointed by this author. I’ve had this series in my TBR pile since it started but waited until the final book in the series was out because I can’t wait for the next one. They are kind of cliffhangers but that isn’t a drawback if you read like I do.

    If you love to read about handsome men who love their bikes and their women this is for you. Iron Fury MC continues to have trouble with the man who is trying to sell drugs in their city.

    Malakai thinks he’s seeing an angel when he meets Amalie. Amalie wears the guilt she feels like a shroud. Mal wants her to be his but is he strong enough to help her start again.

    This contains just the right amount of steamy parts. There is violence so if that’s a trigger for you beware.

    Book two has more umph! Amalie and Malakai are thrown together in a chance meeting in book 1. Mal knows in his heart Amalie is the one for him but convincing her dark soul of that will be harder than it looks. They both have demons and only together can they lift the darkness they are both trying to hide.
