I See Us Kindle Edition
Okay, well. So I was mixing metaphors.I was new to the gig.
But as far as I could tell, there were three kinds of people. Those who wanted confirmation that they’d chosen the correct path. Those who wanted to deny there was any sort of destiny at all. And those who wanted to tear it all down.
So why was it always the third type that showed up at the door to my 1975 Brave Winnebago, dragging me into their power struggles and using my past against me — when I didn’t even know what that past was?
Could I thwart the destiny that had been envisioned for me before I was born? Could I carve out a future filled with love and light with my chosen mate?
I certainly knew what I was capable of doing to survive. Beyond the past, through the present, and well into the future … I’d see us.
I See Us is the third book in the Oracle series, which is set in the same universe as the Dowser, Reconstructionist, Amplifier, Archivist, and Misfits of the Adept Universe series. While it is not necessary to read all the series, in order to avoid spoilers the ideal reading order of the Adept Universe begins with Cupcakes, Trinkets, and Other Deadly Magic (Dowser 1).

- Reviewed in the United States on February 10, 2018Another fantastic book of Meghan's! I freaking love this trilogy so much. I just melt into a puddle everytime something of Rochelle and Beau's love come together. It's so well-written and emotional. This was an intense final installment of the trilogy. I did not see it coming, again, so well-written and fun. I am always simultaneously surprised and not surprised at the depth, reality, and rawness that the characters have woven into them. It's like the characters are real. It's like they move along the story rather than the story having them inside of it. That's the mark of a true, great book. Another mark of a truly great book is when you finish it, you hug it. The book is like saying goodbye for now to a good friend. I love this book so much and look forward to all future work.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 1, 2016I first turned to this series in between Dowser books so I could at least stay in the world, even if the characters didn’t grab me the way Jade & Co. did. With this book, I became a fan of the series in its own right. There was just a depth of characters that wasn’t quite there before, and the execution of the plot was truly masterful. The stakes were high and believable; even when I was 99% sure certain characters wouldn’t die I was still holding my breath at the climax of the conflict. I even felt Rochelle’s pain as the one truth she held inviolable was tested. Everything was brought to a satisfying conclusion without being sappy or too neat.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2019I only read this book of the series as it was a continuation of the story about Jade. It was a good read, I enjoyed the new addition of the oracle to the story line. Differ characters but with the old characters of the Dowser series. If you are going to read this I would suggest you start with the first of the series or start with beginning of the Dowser series.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2016Meghan has done it again! Amazing storyline, characters I have grown to love, some I love to hate. She has made me lose sleep many times, as I read and reread the Oracle Series and the Dowser Series over and over again. All of her stories are like a fine chocolate bar that you savor, eat the whole thing, and then wish you had another bar. Thank you Meghan for never letting us down with your amazing words, and taking us to places that we wish we could be a part of!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 27, 2022Wonderful character growth throughout the whole series, particularly for Rochelle - and a beautiful ending! Thoroughly enjoyed the adventure! Curious to see what happens next in this universe...
- Reviewed in the United States on October 26, 2016From the very first word to the very last, I was mesmerized. Every book written by the impeccable Meghan Ciana Doidge drags you into the very midst of the world and characters of her heart. Every human emotion is front and center as you travel through her carefully woven universe. The talent that Meghan possesses..to surround you with every scene is remarkable and rare. I have read many, many books and none of those have ever come as close to literally and firmly putting me in the authors works. A reader knows the depth of the author's heart when immersing themselves in their books. This reader knows that not only is Meghan's heart in her books...but her soul. I See Us is the third and final book in the Oracle series. It brings answers and pieces of knowledge together that we have been led to all along. Beau and Rochelle physical and personal journeys finally arrive at their destinations. Rochelle might not be able to see her future but finally those around her confirm what they've seen and known all along. This is one of many 'must reads' by Meghan Ciana Doidge! Looking forward to the many books to come from this author's hands and heart! 💟
- Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2016Once again Meghan Ciana Doidge produces a winner. She truly makes us fall in love with the characters and she creates very unlikely heroes. We get to know each character, flaws and all and that makes it much more personal. I enjoy all of her writings and am looking forward to the next chapter that she produces. I happen to enjoy when a series wraps up, so I did not mind that this one ended.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 28, 2017Meghan Ciana Doidge has become a rock star. This is the 3rd book in an offshoot series out of her Cupcakes, Trinkets & Magic series. Cupcakes has come of age, and I See Us is a very satisfying read.
This world- based out of Canada- is peopled with witches, mystics, shifters , vampires and magic. Please no, don't forget the badass cupcakes, single source chocolate, and softy cashmere.....or dragons.
Love MCD. The writing is crisp, fast, snarky and darkish at times. Grab whatever she pens, you won't be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Always great.
Classic Doidge ingredients of northern west coast landscape, compelling characters, delicious treats, an idyllic finish. The Oracle series is a charming side note in the Dowser universe….though I would’ve liked to se The Brave parked rather than crashed…

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow!
I love Rochelle and Beau's story and I can't believe I've finished this book so quickly! The characters are fabulous and so intriguing and captivating right from the beginning and you grow with them as each of their characteristics and quirks come to the fore and are explored. Blackwell and Henry are also coming into their own and yet still hold a lot of mystery. I hope there's more in the Oracle series!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Really good series with unusual twists and magic
I really love Meghan Ciana Diodge's Dowser series and this was also a good little offshoot of that series. It certainly deserves more than four stars but I don't think it reaches five. I also feel like we're left hanging a little about some characters in this book. I did like how our main character finally learned about her own power though and stopped being a wallflower. I did love the ending though, it was wonderful, but I can't tell you why, you'll have to read it for yourself. But I can say I love it when upity sanctimonious people get what's coming to them. One feels vindicated.

4.0 out of 5 stars Love the Oracle series
Enjoyed the Oracle books but not so keen on the complicated way they fall in between other series. Put me off reading any other books by this author.
