    I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

    In this book we meet Lillian Schiff and David Grant. David has just returned home after leaving the Army's MP department. He is anxious to get on to the force. On the night he returns he runs into Lillian and her brother Jason. Lillian is edgy and he knows there is something up with her. Lillian is up to something she is growing weed and having a middle man sell it on the street for her. Though they both are attracted to the other they are currently on different sides of the law. Will they find their HEA or will the weed business end that chance forever?

    This is an amazing story. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. This story has so many layers to it that will have you hooked from the first page to the very end. I would recommend this story to anyone.

    I liked this story a lot: I found it to be very well written, interesting, suspenseful & a different take on the Daddy/Little Girl theme in a good way. To me, this story was much more about the path to becoming someone's Little Girl vs a woman already a Little Girl finding a Daddy. Although there are a couple of very steamy scenes, the author focused much more on Lillian's journey from potential disaster to salvation. And although initially I didn't care much for Lillian (heroine), selfish, angry, a liar, criminal, & although I came to understand WHY she was doing the things she did & felt, I still didn't like her.
    Jason, her brother & a police officer had become responsible for his younger sister when their parents were killed in an auto accident when she was 13. Although Jason was regimented, controlling & straight laced, he very much loved his sister.
    His sister who is lying to him about virtually everything about her life.
    And then Jason's best friend David returns home & with fresh eyes, he uncovers Lillian's deceptions & lies & realizes she is a step away from destroying her & Jason's life.
    But David realizes how much he cares for his best friend's sister & wants to take care of her, protect & support her, love her & be her Daddy. But he intends to join the police force in 2 weeks & then he won't be able to look away from Lillian's criminal activities. So, he has 2 weeks to fix Lillian's life & if he has to take her as his prisoner for the next 2 weeks, so be it.
    But Lillian has been handling her life for some time, has been independent & making her own decisions (although bad ones), will she be able to accept David's dominance, control & direction to save herself & start fresh? Or will she fight back or run away?
    I found this story to be frustrating because I just didn't care for how wantonly selfish Lillian was about her choices & the justification she used for those choices & lies but I DID come to like her later on in the story. I very much liked David, he was firm but not cruel, loving & protective but not smothering & his main concern was for the Little Girl he loved. And, although he didn't always handle things the right way, I did like Jason: he did the best he could, he did not walk away from his little sister & he loved her & was proud of her.
    I very much recommend this story, I felt it was an excellent character study of how someone can be changed in a positive way through firm discipline, steady guidance & most of all, love.

    Ava Sinclair writes some of the best Daddy books out there. I love to read anything she writes, but she just seems to have a special touch with the Daddy books. I dunno what it is, I do know that I will always read them.

    Lillian lost her parents when she was 13 and her brother took over raising her from then. However, his idea of raising her was trying to turn her into a mini-him, and she hated every second of it. She just couldn't handle it, so she did what she could to get away from him.

    David remembers Lillian best as his best friend's 13 year old sister. She's definitely not that anymore. Now she's a beautiful woman who appears to be hiding something, and he's determined to figure out what she's hiding.

    I really do love how good of care David takes of Lillian. He really seems to want to do everything he can to help her out and to help her get into a better place. I think the two of them together are just perfect.

    Don’t know about you, but I love the holidays; all that family, food and fun! But sometimes I need a break, and while I recognize there isn’t much time, I love to “get away” with a good novella. Today’s good novella is “IN DADDY’S CUSTODY,” the newest and tremendously entertaining DADDY story from the author QUEEN of erotic DADDY novellas, Ava Sinclair! It is a can’t miss holiday treat. The blurb gives readers a good idea of the story’s premise but what the blurb doesn’t reveal is that the story is so well written it was easy for this reader to fall so far inside the story that I was half in love with David Grant myself. Written using dual narration, readers gain a quick understanding of the thoughts, motivations, and angst of both Lillian and David. With that rapid understanding comes the ability to relate to all of the characters and builds an emotional tie that will take a reader through a nearly complete gambit of emotions and leave a sense of loss when the story ends. Add to that the sensual and erotic nature of the DADDY relationship that did a slow burn to fruition, and “IN DADDY’S CUSTODY” is an epic feel-good story to delight the stolen moments this holiday season. I voluntarily read an ARC copy of “IN DADDY’S CUSTODY” and this is my honest review. Because I don’t generally give all five stars to a novella because of its length, I am struggling. I LOVED this DADDY story, so “IN DADDY’S CUSTODY” will receive the 4 STARS it earned and then another ½ star because it was that good. I STRONGLY suggest that you get your copy of “IN DADDY’S CUSTODY” today! Happy pages!
