Holy mayhem! I was not prepared for this book. I know, I know, I should have been bc its Amo Jones but I was not and I am certainly not mad about it. Every time I finish an Amo Jones book I think “this, this one is my favorite” and then I read another one and In Silence She Screams was absolutely no different. After Killian and Sass in the last book (In Fury Lies Mischief) I was positive I couldn’t love this book as much as I did Fury but our little thrupple proved me wrong. These three MCs were the perfect combination and completion (ha!) to each other. We met Lilith in the last part of In Fury Lies Mischief where she has now been thrust into the spotlight of Mayhem. Kyrin is one of the brothers of Kiznitch and quite dangerous and alluring. Eli, oh sweet, perfect Eli, is one of our Kings… the Elite Kings. We first met Eli in Amo’s Elite Kings series (and boy am I sucker for a crossover) and now he’s working with our brother’s trying to get some information. When these three come together is utter insanity and absolute fire. "Anytime he's around, I get weird feelings in my gut that I don't like. Like bat wings flapping through a vampire cave, if they get too close to you, the claws on this membrane will surely slice you open." I cried. That is all I am going to say… I cried… and maybe threw my book across the room while yelling “WHY!?!?! SERIOUSLY?!?!” yup…. Still not over it. I’ll be in my corner staring (moodily) out my window and doing vodka shots until the next book is out…. K byyye

This is the third part of the Midnight Mayhem series, I couldn't get the last one out of my mind, I was so involved and deeply excited that I had to grab the third one in English. Impressive and less than stunned I was again intoxicated with the first few lines, gripped and eagerly followed what kind of impressive personality Lilith is and what lies behind her shadows.
The role of a king in the middle of the Kiznitch also stands out, so I warn you that it would be better to read the Elite Kings series first, if not the epilogue and some information are quite spoilers.
Of course everything happens quickly, destroys everything that is close to you, shocks, stands out with the darkness and gloomy personalities, actions, but always give a small part of hope that there is also a tiniest glimmer of love in a non-socially dangerous relationship world could prevail.
But don't be fooled, this won't be the case here, you'll get a brilliant reading experience that won't let you go and you get so entangled that you doubt your own thoughts. I also warn head-on that this is for a reader with strong nerves and one cannot escape the world of the circus.
Lilith stands out, from the camp of the enemies, but who shocks you with her way of thinking and yet captivates you. Her show is just as extraordinary as her character. All sorts of memories related to the worst entanglements, her perspective on everything changed.
Kyrin, dark, domineering and never really interested in anyone, never shies away from an opportunity to get close to Lilith.
This is part of the Kingston, a troupe in their own right, their performances legendary, shocking and exhilarating but also an elite with many dark secrets mastering their heritage. Those godlike male creatures that you can't resist, no matter how wrong it is supposed to be. King, Killian the Trickster, Kyrin and Keaton, the quieter of the bunch, all stand out for their dominance, engaging character and perfectly trained body, and loyalty to each other. Also outstanding is the union of Elite Kings and Kiznitch, den Eli is full of energy in the middle of the action, has a hidden mission and connects everything in a very shocking way.

The book rocks anew through its shocking, surprising course, opening up emotional chaos, dark needs and a never-ending, ongoing series of brutality, destruction and emotion. Especially the intense characters, the combination of these three, make the heart soar, destroying the slightest hope at the same time, but always attract each other and create an unbridled, brutal attraction. This is described very passionately by the author, so that living it out is not always for the light-hearted. Also outstanding is the past that lies in shadow, the fight against an opponent, impossible losses and a role that no one should take on. Blows of fate that break you and yet connect you all the more strongly. The grandiose style of writing is again flowing, gripping and intoxicating, relaxed, light, but also emotional and extremely pictorial, engaging, brutal and passionate in the smallest detail. She always manages to keep the arc of suspense at the highest level and yet surprising turning points flow in, with the inserted memories desperate but also shockingly letting you participate in the events, the change of perspective offers insights into the thoughts and emotions of Kyrin, Eli and Lilith.
I devoured the book in one go, completely lost myself in the entire band, am immersed in the secrets and suffering, the highly explosive course of the plot and completely in the story. The dynamics of the events that come together and the characters are amazing, they repel each other and yet harmonize so perfectly with each other, reveal a fateful and deep connection and shock in an unexpected way. This is underpinned with cheeky sayings and actions, amusing as well as brutal moments.

An impressive and very intense reading experience is offered, doesn't let go and pulls you into an intoxicating and addictive flow of reading, so that you have no chance to put it down. I can only mention it again and recommend it to anyone who wants a unique and not directly transparent, dark story. Especially the further developments are inscrutable, the unexpected talents, the sophistication as well as the structure of the society of the enemies, the deep entanglements and incredible emotional expansion are amazing. Striking the suffering that the young woman has to go through, the hurdles she has to face, the losses she has to endure hits you and involves nerve-wracking development. So be on your guard and stay completely longing for the next work, because even if this volume ends with a happy ending, currently the ending is Midnight Mayhem, it still remains somewhat unexplained, so that in speculation and hope for another, completely satisfied and intoxicated by the perfect reading experience.
